don't get hit.. that's all.. but if they use axe I think you end up dead anyway..
but seriously if they are good you have no chance.. if not the maul does not matter ;)

if he lags, you have a huge chance other than that it's a snowball's chance to hell.

For starters, I use Frostbolt, so that is the basis of my strategy. If they don't use Juggernaut, kiting them is a walk in the park if you time their HoR and Skyward Smash intervals - they won't be able to keep up with you. If they do have Juggernaut, then your first priority is to survive the 15 seconds of invulnerability they have to movement impairing effects (snare, stun, root). Honestly, in TDM I don't have an issue kiting maul warriors. It's CTF that is difficult, because you're usually not alone and other factors come into play.

If you've set up a 1 v 1 match for fun, you're only going to survive if you use Frostbolt and/or Shield (especially if they proc). If you don't use Frostbolt to kite them, then maybe a lucky Lightning crit will serve you justice. Either way, whether or not they use Juggernaut is ultimately the determining factor in winning against a maul warrior, in my opinion. That weapon isn't nearly as devastating as a normal rogue's Aimed Shot crit, and is certainly not OP.

The truth is, like Cero said, a pro warrior kills any mage!

You need to following build: Fire, Lightning, Time, Shield

Then you need to use Ribbit pet.

As soon as the battle starts, run right up to them and drop a charged Clock on them, then back off, use Ribbit's arcane ability to raise your crit %, and then hit them with a quick Fire and Lightning back to back. Then turn on your shield and kite them using Fire & Lightning again. Then when Time's cool down is over, repeat the process.

They most likely won't last very long if you are getting some critical hits, and the Time keeps them planted pretty well.

Use fireball to stun, then use shield, keep attacking with fireball, lightning, and dps. If your hp goes to 60% or below, use heal, it should go back up to 100%. Use fireball as soon as possible to keep stunning them to give your shield more to time to be active again. Once it's active, use it, then heal. Repeat these until the warrior dies. Don't forget to keep running around. If you stay in one spot and don't move at all, you'll die a little faster than when you're moving. Keep using your pets arcane ability asap, it could help you. (You don't have to charge shield or heal if you have 15%hp or below, just tap them.. Chances are, the warrior is dying and would have killed you if you charged them)

Well...i think only way is stun and slash. So...probably u need lightning for slash, time for root, fire for stun and dmg and shield (invincible upgrade) and probably slag to stun.

[As its respec weekend i'll suggest also try using this in case plan A doesnt work: curse and shield,so it cant hurt u,but when it attacks,it hurts himself]
Hope it was useful :-)
