What are the best skills to use for mages?

Depends on your play style but I recommend: fireball, lighting, sheild, life giver (or take sheild or life giver out for Time shift)

Went through alot of sets but fire, ice, lightning and clock is my favorite and most likely wont be changed again. Spam potions and unleash the wrath of god.

I don't think I would do very well in pve with those skills.

I've ditched life giver in exchange for shield, I can now momentarily tank especially when I'm about to freeze mobs and drop time shift. Very essential skills when doing elite runs and KM3.

Mine are: life giver, windgale, time, fireball and one skill point on lightning for bosses.

(PvE purposes; works great for me)
