I downloaded the recent update through google play store, somehow after downloading it connected me through my husbands account information. Now I am unable to fully log out of his account and log in to mine. Please help!! What do I do?

Uninstall the app. Download it again. When you sign into Google in AL it should bring up the "Give the app these permissions" screen. Hit Cancel on that and it should open a dialog allowing you to add another account.

1st thing I did was uninstall and redownload and still logged into his account. I ended up having to totally reset google play accounts but thank you for your response! :)
