My guess is that all 'official people' are working their butts of to deliver us the update later today. They're located in Mexico, so in their time zone they have plenty of time left before the day ends.

It takes a long time for the update to finish, and it'll start at about 12 PM CST. It could take 1 hour, or it can take 3. Expect at least 1 hour of "Uh-oh! The server is currently down for maintenance/update!" blah blah blah.
