New Pets Included in the Realm of Shadows Expansion

New Realm of Shadows Pets


There are a number of new pets included in the Realm of Shadows expansion. The new model is the bat pet. Several previous models return in redone glowing shadow pets. Here is the rundown:


Bats


40231

Malgo – Rare
Can be found flying around the forests of Shuyal
Bonus: +12 INT, +3% Crit
Ability: Sonic Sweep - Damages enemy targets and has a chance to stun.

Camilla – Rare
Found in Shuyal Puzzle Boxes!
Bonus: +12 STR, +2% Damage Reduction
Ability: Bash Attack - Does a small damaging AoE at the point of impact, has chance to reduce critical hit chance of primary target.

Uries – Epic
Purchase with Hauntlet Coins gained from running the Hauntlet.
Bonus: +15 DEX, +10% Damage, +5 Mana Regen
Ability: Swoop - AoE Attack that does damage, heals allies, and has chance to reduce armor and hit of enemy targets.

Valkin – Legendary
Reward for completing the Warlord Inan'hesh [Elite] achievement!
Bonus: +20 STR, +10 Primary Stat, +8% Crit, +2% Dodge
Ability: Screech - Snares nearby enemies and grants allies +15 primary stat, 250 to max mana and heals mana based on pet level.



Shadow Pets

Shadowfang – Rare
A rare pet found in the Undim Fields. Probably caught by one of the nasties there!
Bonus: +5 INT, +5 DEX, +5 STR
Ability: Shadow Fury - Grants +10 INT, +10 DEX, +10 STR, 8% move speed to nearby allies.

Nemesio – Rare
Purchase with Story Tokens from running the Bard's Tale daily quests.
Bonus: +10 Primary Stat, +3 Bonus Damage
Ability: Explode - Explodes with darkness, damaging all enemies around it.

Ethyl – Epic
Rare pet that can be found in Grand Watch Crates
Bonus: +15 STR, +15 INT, +10% Damage, +6% Crit
Ability: Dark Snare - Significantly slows enemies within 12m for 8 sec

Haze – Legendary
Exclusive Platinum purchased pet reduces enemy hit and armor effectiveness!
Bonus: +25 Primary Stat, 10% Damage, 10% Movement, and 8 Mana Regen
Ability: Shadow Flames - Releases shadow flames around the dragon, doing damage reducing armor by 10% and hit by 15%

Valkin provides a free full mana restoration if I read correctly, along with a significant boost of stats.

Also, for Valkin... think about it for warrior. It's basically an upgraded Glacian as fully buffed, warriors will be able to get +45 str along with many other benefits.

Sorry for the confusion, Valkin's mana restoration is not a full bar. It's a small bit (well depending on just how big your actual mana pool is) and it gets a bit bigger as you level the pet up.

You have not read correctly, it will boost the mana pool by 250, and then heal an additional amount based on the pets level. It will be 10 man points per level, so at bat level 23 he would heal 230 Mana for example.

I would just like to point out that I've done KM3 hunreds if not thousands of times and never did I even see anyone loot a nexus once. That said, as a pet, it's going to be completely destroyed by Valkin and I'm not going to bother spending 200k on a 40plat pet! TY STS for making the first worthy questline pet!

Which kind? Normal, elite or both? I only ask because as I pointed out awhile ago in a separate thread, there is still mass confusion about Kraken pets such as Amy and Pinfeathers. I'd hate for the same confusion to exist during this campaign. You were specific with Talon, and we appreciate that.
