Personally, just my opinion, but I think someone that's been here since day 1 would, 1) started forums earlier. 2) be more polite to the community he's been with for so long. And 3) At least have a sig :rolleyes:

For your information, how long you've been on the forums has nothing at all to do with whether or not how long you've been playing. I'm probably the most polite person you've ever met. I'm too cool for a signature.

1) Yes, but you are bragging about being here since day 1 indicating you're a fan of the game. I do realize forums and game are two completely different places, but how you're calling us losers for starting a few days after you started the game, when you're so new to the forums, and we've been here longer ;)
2) Well, I can't judge how you are in real life, but you aren't proving that in any way, so I'm going to guess it was sarcasm;)
3) Fair enough, but I'd think you'd atleast put your character names in there.

I'm an oldie... started in 1st week of the game and joined forums in Apr 2010... beat that...
I think waht also can determine if you're an oldie is if you have by default 250 stash slots... When did they nerf this again?? cant remember.

Hmm... I joined PL on 4/12 but I don't have 250 Stash Slots, I only have 135. I have 250 Inventory slots. I never made a charecter on Fnord only on Alterra. I remember that if you had characters on both you got extra character slots and some extra stash slots I think.

I found the Patch that merged the 2 servers. It also added the Enchantress Self Buffs 1.2 Content Update (47443) (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?2545-1.2-Content-Update-%2847443%29)
When the server comes back online, here's a list of what will be in today's update:
Merged Alterra and Fnord servers. If your Fnord character doesn't have a name conflict with existing Alterra characters, you will get to keep the name. If your character does have a name conflict, we will rename your character to Fnord-Charactername and you will receive a free character rename. Everything will merge additively, and will do so as though you had an account on both realms even if you didn't. That means everyone that started before the merge occurs will have at least 4 character slots (plus any amounts purchased on either realm), at least 10 stash slots(plus purchased), sum of respecs available, and all characters, inventory, friends, ignores, stashed items, etc from both realms.
Prohibit trade of items that shouldn't be tradable
Added two new self-buffs to the Enchantress' "Blessings" that should help survivability and damage a lot in PvP. "Blessing of Vitality" now gives the Enchantress caster a high degree of armor protection (8 to 32 points) for a short period (12 sec). Additionally the "Blessing of Might" gives the Enchantress caster an increase to damage (5 to 25 points) and to critical hit chance (10 to 50%) for twenty seconds. Buffs for both blessings increase per rank. The party buff aspect has not been modified ;)
Added several more epic and legendary helms to "Fathom Crypt" and "Lost Expedition" boss loot tables.

I checked with the day I got my confirmation email. And conradin, that thing u said about having 250 stash slots but it only let's you take 50 in is pretty odd...I can take all in...
Btw I joined on 5/20. Anyone know what day PL came out?

I checked my receipt date and I downloaded Pocket Legends on 4-3-10. I also have a receipt where I purchased all maps at the time(The Lost expedition, Dark Forest, Fathom Krypt, and Balefort Castle) at 2$'s a piece on 4-17-10. So does that make me an oldie?;)
Edit: Oh, I downloaded it on the first day because I remember getting my Ipod Touch for christmas..and reading Toucharcade every one-two weeks for new games..not so fond of games at the time but that seems as though all Ipod touch had, well that and music, and saw this as in up and coming mmorpg and awaited it's release. Then there after on 4-17-10 said let me try out this IMO..it was rubbish and made me realize why I wasn't so fond of games, after deleting it, I downloaded the 4 maps.
Edit again: Meant 4-3-10. My eyes deceive me. As I did as Mystic said, also. I too awaited the last day to verify my email. Procrastination is my best friend.
Edit a third time: If you go the homepage of these forums and scroll to the bottom hit last page, third one from the bottom. It says 'We are excited to announce that our product will launch on Saturday, April 3rd!'.
So I indeed joined the first day:).

terribly false... i started on the 10th, and there are people who started as early as the 3rd if my memory is correct. Even the forum records can tell ya that much.

I started the 4th, I remember since I verified on the 11th, and I remember waiting till the last day. I remember the day LE came out, I was already level 25, geared up with my gem staff of mastery, and then I remember the day bone gear came out, I ended up getting dreamers bone cloth and dreamers bone staff, took me a while, but I got them, and people would always ask how I got them :D

ahh the bone gear days.... i remember looking all cool in town and during that time there were no such things as rushes or farming parties.. everyone jsut played together trying the clear and level the maps because it was hard and we were all innocent.... ahhh the memories...

Yea that was about the end of the good days, before rushing or boss hunting was really possible. Despite being a awesome map pack, the ancient swaps was the beginning of a downward trend in PvE. Strangly AO1 was looking pretty good, but AO2 killed it.
And yea... i started closer to the 5th or 6th i believe, but i go by my register date cause i can't prove it.

there was no farming, scaming or rudeness cause those things weren't possible yet, or more likely... no one on Fnord was online. Ya got a point about helpful players though from what i hear though.

I'm not an "oldie" I have been playing since June but I became good friends with all these "oldies" and I was taken into the community as if I was here since the first day :D I got to the lv40 cap in a few days. I haven't been around in pl that long but it feels like I've been here since the start and even for not being around that long I see the big change that our community has gone through. it's pretty sad...

for me, half the fun was the interaction in the town and how amazed i got when someone got a new pink i never seen before.... now i avoid the town of beggers, scammers, leachers, traders and lamers~!
Like I posted b4, i have a "town" profile i use with ugle gear and holding my broom from item pack.... so lame hoping that no one clicks on me and see's my lvl 50..... if i go into town all decked out, i get like 5 friend requests before i even fully materlize in town.. sigh

I still play my old character. I stoped playin when I hit 14 then 6 months or so later blam! More levels. Ahhh the good old days. I just cant stand the beggars everywhere. I don't lvl anymore that way I still look normal.
