so bought a 32gig and also in-ear headphones with mic (to be able to use those apps with voice options. there are a few)

I think you should be able to do that once you upgrade your ipod touch to newest version of ios

its almost impossible that apple updates ipods twice a year

ipods usually get updated after summer and that's why apple offers back to school promotion at the time for stock clearance

I'll try to, I clicked update but it did say updated to the latest.

Also, I've realised its just expensive and not satisfying to just keep waiting for the latest model. I'd just get one, and wait for a drastic difference before I upgrade.

Nice man. Sounds like a good bet lol. I wish my parents would do something like this, if I did help them they would tell me something along the lines of, "You have a job already! Buy your own stuff you moocher!" or "I pay for you to live under this roof, eat the digested food in your stomach, and the water that fuels your hot showers.".
I've been eye-balling the 4th Generation stuff for a while now, how amazing is the retina display? Does it make your eyes want to tear up because of it's beauty? :O

Actually, to be honest, I think the Android's capabilities far surpass that of most I-Mobile devices. The few downsides are the lack of smoothness and the bugs, but that will fix itself over time. Aside from the that, the Android market greatly surpasses the App Store. It's vastly superior in every aspect; I've seen app's for nearly everything you could imagine. From app's that let you directly download any MP3 to your Android, direct TV streaming (not Hulu, literally streaming TV stations as they air), working metal detector apps (no joke, everything metal except aluminum), to even porn-based apps. Not to mention every one of those app's I just mentioned is free, as well as a solid 80 - 90 percent of every submitted app is free. I've literally spent a good 2 hours scrolling through apps in one sub catagory, it seems virtually endless. Please don't let the Apple Fanboy's ruin the perception of the Android, all in all, it's a great device that can actually compete with the I-Devices unlike the countless failed attempts from other companies.

i definetley agree, i have the ipod 3, and im wait till it has teleportation or something to upgrade lol.
