I have talked to many players who say that charged spells don't always work. I have noticed that on my mage, rogue and my warrior. On my mage I will charge my heals and it will go off but with no effect. When I charge my clock it doesn't drop. When I charge my fireball it doesn't go off. This is sometimes. Not always. But it happens a lot when I need it the most. On my rogue, its shadow pierce and she doesn't go anywhere. She just stands there. Now, I know I am not the only one as I have seen posts about this and also talked to a lot of people in game. It's not a computer issue. Its not a connection issue. It's been happening since I've started playing this game. It happens on all devices. Cellphones, tablets and computers alike. I am hoping this gets looked into as I have email them about it and got nothing done about it except to say it's somehow my fault. This is something that needs to be fixed an I hope it get looks into. Also more people need to speak up for anything to happen. Thank you

They mostly work. Sometimes they fail and go into cd when theyre not used...Should be fixed.

Or sometimes they fail when they aren't charged fully. Like, half charged.

The reason why this issue exists is because there is a glitch where non-fully charged spells fail. However, this issue is amplified when lag comes into account. Since charging spells shows on your screen and has no indication if it registered on the server side of the game, what you think is charged may be actually half-charged (which has a high chance of resulting in a skill fail).

So, I recommend you check your internet and see if that's the issue.

As Apollo mentions, latency can make the issue worse.

The best thing you can do is wait a "beat" after you charge up to ensure that it goes off.

This is why it doesn't get fixed. Because I said it's not a connection issue. When I'm running at 32mbps I have no lag. My ping is almost always 46. By saying it's a law issue you are passing off having to fix it. No. It will happen in town, with no one around, at 3am with no lag at all.

In rare cases when a skill is almost fully charged, if you release the skill, it may act as if it went off, but have no effect. This is a known issue that requires a new client version to correct. Regarding the text I bolded; That post was made in May. When can we expect this bug to be fixed? Its a huge problem that effects our gameplay experience.
