Everyone would think that the Elite Onyx is tough, but we got him down fairly quickly.
For new people trying to kill him, all you need to do is have a group of players, preferably mages and tanks, and take out the mini onyx's. Kill a little of their lives individually when they have a green glow on them. Once they are down its far easier to kill the main boss.
