A warriors heal per tick is based on how much damage he has - Quoted by a dev, tested, works.

So a maul warrior L36 has 1.8k armor can heal WAY more than a full mythic warrior L36 with 2.05k armor. A tanks job is to absorb damage but also to heal others and make sure they dont die, a full mythic heals less than a maul warrior which has 200 more armor...

Heals should be based off of the warriors armor NOT damage. Please tell me other warriors agree.

Skills' effects are calculated off of your damage. Including a mage's heal.

quick question, If I'm healed by a warrior is that also proportional to the damage I have?

@iron: no, it is proportional to the skill's caster's damage.

Yall aret getting the point, the damage factor should not be the thing that decides how much the warrior heals, should be armor.

It's kind of stupid imo for the heal to be based off of armor. It makes no sense, so if you have some reasoning behind that, then please do say it :)

Heal should be based on health pool potential, IMO.

Yep, this is what I think too.

Well, I never said it should be based off damage. But some Warriors can reach 220+ damage WITHOUT a hammer. With a hammer, it can be 250+. Some Warriors with hammer last cap healed me 600+ per tick.

Is heal based off of damage potential or damage done? Because if it is damage done (including skills) then that makes a lot of sense, since a fighting needs more healing. If it is simply potential, then that is lame.

I always heal my team no point in having a skill that heals if you don't use it, doesn't matter if its randoms or not if they die it doesn't get easier.

It should be off of the health pool but i dont see why it would matter if they changed it now. I mean your still going to get full heath from one use of it

^^ This! And fully agreed, didn't know that till now, I thought it is based on dps (as ability power stat), and that's one of the main reasons I was avoiding entombed hammers during season 4, going with abyssal of warfare/myth sword for tanking part.

A little from the topic, but just so you know, dps is the speed of your main attack, not the dmg of each individual attack.
