My goal of a savage set.

This may sound cheesy, but since the moment the savage set "came out," I've always wanted one. Just the look of it, the opness of it, and then seeing it on my burd with MFA, (got to borrow for 5 min) the sexiness of it :P My goal is to earn enough gold for a savage set by October. I'm definitely not the best person with gold, as I've pretty much sold everything I have and gotten 3.1m. All I'm asking is for some help with merching, as I feel I'm going too slow. I have worked my way up from 2m-3.1 just by petty 100k upgrades. I've been merching flying and phantom sets, and each time I'm making about 50-100k, but I feel I'm going slow. What can I merch to earn gold a bit faster, yet not have to be worried about the price dropping overnight? I'm farming dragon all today, with my mage Nyosiris, and I'd just like a few pointers about higher item merching. My starting gold point is 3.1m >.> Thanks:)

Just buy every underpriced item from cs you can find. Check prices of these items regularly:

Shadow cave sets
Lvl 51, 55 sewer sets
Lvl 56 obe/charmin/bt/sm sets
Lvl 60 obe/sm/charmin' sets
Lvl 60 crafting materials (especially glyphic steels)
Dragon vanities
Lvl 65 crafted sets
Lvl 66 sets
Lvl 70 crafted sets
All bsm sets
All discontinued stuffs (don't buy them if you're not 100% sure about what they're worth)

You could also merch less profitable items if you have enough slots.

Lvl 5, 15 crafted armors
Pink forest haven weapons/dark forest pink armors
Lvl 26 sets
Lvl 35 sets
Lvl 40, 45-50 AO gear
Lvl 53, 58, 53, 68 sets
Lvl 65 and 70 uncrafted sets
Normal vanities
Winter fest gear

I'd farm death shotty. Go to Shadow Caves 1 and take a left then a right. Go to the end of the right path ull see this Shadow Bird. If u get a sentinel shotgun, u can sell it for 1.1-1.8 mil in cs.

Another thing Trenton - Due to PvP balance under way for end game within the next week (hopefully), the prices for each set should be pretty balanced out. This means that savage set prices will drop (not because they're bad, but simply because they'll be balanced out).

So make sure you don't spend any gold until the balance comes! It'll save you hopefully around 1mill+

My most favorite sets/items are Sentinel shotgun set, ESB set (bombs and STARS..) fortified (I love the gems!!) and custom recurve set.

They just need a boost up in tanking aspects: Armor, HP, Dodge - but with that boost, means they need to be toned down with damage.

What I mean is hit%. You can give me all the crit, dodge, health/regen, and armor in the world, but if I can't hit anything, nothing matters. This us where the class specific gear discussion comes into play. Bears finally have the ability to do damage and are being "punished" because of the high use of Savage sets. The buff foxes receive which boosts hit% should have been implemented to bears. Basically, remove the crit buff from rage and and add hit. OR... remove evasion, keep the dodge given in the sets, and make evasion into a new skill which gives us more hit%.

I will continue to carry Elly's torch until we see this. I hope my "Strength Gear Analysis" thread was highly considered in all the changes.

i usually check dragon vanites, savage, swift, fiery, elites and glyph items if i see them underpriced ill buy and re sell.also when swift armor wasnt 2.5m when it was around 2.3 i usuaLLY buy swift armor for 2m then sell for 2.25m easy 200k.
