The stats for this ring say the following:

10 STR, 41 INT, 2.88% Crit. Grants +3.5% crit chance.

What then exactly is the difference between the two underlined parts??? They obviously are different or else they would not be separated and it would just say "6.38% Crit".

FYI, when I try the ring on in the auction preview, my stats show the 2.88 Crit, but not the 3.5 Crit. I also noticed that some other Archon rings grant various bonuses including armor or damage, but none show on the stat page.

It means that as you fight, occasionally it will proc an extra 3.5% crit. Ribbit is best, but every inch crit counts for mages! Wonder if it glows brighter when it procs xD would be cool if it changed the color of your attacks when it did!

I guess it not "+ 3.5% crit chance", it's "+3.5 crit chance", lol.

Bad labeling. Its a proc buff.

It's not a proc, it's a permanent effect (look for the crit buff icon when you put it on). It's suffering from the bug of not showing the stat bonus, the same as some of our pets. The ring actually grants 6.38% extra crit chance.

Elaborating on Safi's question related to Archon ring of brutality, 41DEX, 3 DMG + 2.5% bonus:

If I have, say, 375 DMG, does that mean that finally I have (375+3) x 1.025 = 387.5 DMG?
