Help with lvl 50 birdy?

So I'm lvling my Hahahabirdy to lvl 50 and pvping with him. I would highly appreciated if you someone would be kindly enough to help me out with the build and gear. I was thinking about going with Hate set. Any thoughts? Any kind of advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
P.S: Haven't pvped with bird in this bracket since Sewer days. So keep that in mind.
P.S.S Another thing. Should I go to 56? is it any better? or fun?

Hate bird isn't very good imo because they have less dodge than full dex death bird, yet more armor so they can tank better.

Yes, I used a l50 Death Shotty bird for a while, and it was pretty fun.
For Mages I used
Blast, root , break , repulse
Bears
Blind, root , shatter, blast, break, repulse
Birds
Break, root, repulse
Others may argue that "blind" first is a better option, but when a bird buffs it's hit chance is over 100. Therefore, I thought speed & damage for birds were more important.
Death birds are great fun, but against MM mages who M.S. they can be a bit weak. Especially with the dodge nerf.
Heal isn't very necessary, but I recommend using 1.
Avian helped me out allot. Getting out of stuns & ice can be crucial sometimes
Have fun!

In other words, vs other birds and mages the death talon set will increase your chances by at least 20%
Think of the death talon set as using an angel set.

Also, if you find l50 becoming a bit dull.. I recommend l51.
It's actually not a very big difference, but you get to experience new gear.
As for 56.. No, I do not think it is very fun.
Why?
because a death/ 51 has a higher chance of beating a 56 than a 56 beating a 61

I find high egos at l56 that I do not "gusta"

If you ever want to try it use this:

6 Blast
6 Both roots
6 Buffs
6 Break
6 Blind
6 Repulse
1 Shattering
1 Restore

Yep no problem, drainer is cheap, so even if you want to try it for just a few rounds, it's not like you're losing money.
