AL seems to be laggy very bad tonight and everytime it starts it says the same thing it does when an update is happening is this my internet or what

No it not just you, I noticed in my time zone (UK) I experience lag from 9pm & onwards, during that time my friends on AL also mention their suffering lag. I actually used to never lag hardly & now both on my iPhone 5 & iPod Touch 5th Gen I still lag around that time.
It been like this for the last 8 days.
