It's an average of 100. Of course, not everyone will get it in exactly 100, but some will get it on their first, and others won't get one even after 200.

The problem here is the range of possible attempts. The lowest number might be one or two, but i have guldmates who opened more than 1500 (and yes, spend more than $ 500 for plat) and didnt get even a mythic item.

this can be very frustrating and it is outright dangerous for people who are in danger of falling for gambling

opening 3 is a waste. Too low chance and u betetr can buy respawns/ elixirs of it. U have a big chance to get one after 100-200

I got the mythic sword and shield in the second crate i ever opened, but the mythic weapons had a higher chance to drop when in crates.

As a lot of people have said it could take from 1-500 tries for a mythic. I have found that 60-90 crates usually yields a good chance of at least 1 item. I would say about 40-60% of the time I will get a mythic while opening in this range but at the same time I've opened 300 with nothing.

This is not true (bold part).

Every time you open a crate, you are back to the same odds. While statistically it may lead you to the assumption, that it is your turn now, it is not. Every opening you start out with the same odds. So, openening 300 of them, doesn't better your odds in no way. Please understand that, when you gamble.

Great logic there. You do realize this game is free to play, and STG still has to pay their staff, right? Or do you have a new, innovative way for a game development company to sustain themselves somehow?

Back on topic: My record is 3 mythics in 70 crates from one session, and then 0 mythics in 100 crates in a second session.

just do this. get as much free plat as you can spend all on crates. wait till another time u can get more free plat and spend all on crates. keep doing this everyday and youll get a mythic soon! thats how i got my first and only mythic! or u can just buy a ton of plat and spend all on crates. There is no certain amount of number. Some people get it in 1 try or maybe 100 tries.

this is true for U.S.-players, as I am. Yes this works. But: the rest of the world is pretty much let out on those reasonable free plat offers. Used to be different, ... but nowadays, my buddies in germany complain, there are no attractive offers anymore.

This is exactly why most players quit the game, because they feel scammed. I will not be playing, after one month, and over 300 locked crates, with only 2 mythics to show for it, (fang of fen, and sorc armor) neither of which could be evenly traded for a piece of gear I could actually equip. The drop rates are so shamefully low that STS won't publish them...

Not true. The chance is always the same with every new crate you pop. Opening 365 at once is pretty much the same as opening one crate every day during one year.

The only thing you do with opening more is squeezing the probability into one instant.

I open like 2-3 per day on average and got 4 mythics since March. Currently I do not open any because the reward/chance/price is heavily off-balance, as stated in many threads recently.

The chances are all the same & the Loot Reroll & Leprechaun Amulet do not help to increase your chances of better loot when opening a locked crate

HOW TO GET MYTHIC OR ARCANE ITEMS FROM CRATES

Material(s):
1. Platinums.
2. Lockeds.
3. Golds. (In addition if you want to buy lockeds)

Steps:
1. First, go check inventory -> Chests -> then click the locked.
2. Next, pray and hope.
3. Open it for 15 platinums.
4. If you don't get the mythic or arcane items, repeat the 1-3 steps continuously until you get it.
