Buying Platinums for the first time. HELP!

So I checked on the phone it says 50% more platinum for first time buyers right?
But then I went to play AL on chrome and it didn't say 50% more platinum for first time buyers.

So I'm guessing the best option (and safest) is to buy from the phone yeah?
However.. I intend to pay using Paypal which I don't think the phone supports..? Since it just links me to Google Pay.
In which chrome has the option to pay using paypal.. oh gawd.

50% more platinum for first time buyers is only available on iOS and Android clients, not from web clients.

Also, the 50% more platinum for first time buyers is not available during a plat sale.
