It didn't come off my gift card, it came off my mom's credit credit.
Plus I didn't even get it..

EDIT: When I checked my email, it said it failed. Does the purchase still go off the credit card?

A little lesson on credit cards in is order. When you make a payment your bank actually puts a hold on the amount of money requested, until the receiving end collects. This is because it can take up to a few days for a transfer, from one bank to the next, to go through and they don't want you to spend more than your limit. Sometimes something goes wrong with the transaction, your bank places the hold but the verification never gets to the receiving end (so they never request the funds). In that case, normally after no more than 3-5 days, your bank removes the hold and places the money back in your account.

If you ever want to get your plat right away always use a credit card not a bank debt card. Credit cards go right through unlike debt takes about 2 to 3 days
