If i want to farm in dark forest:
do i solo it and should i rush to the boss and kill him only?

I'm not too familiar with the dark forest farming, but from the few times I've tried it, mobs/chests in dark forest don't really give anything. Even the trolls don't give drops. So IMO just go rush to the boss. :)

arrrgh i already gave up after chapter 4 and 5:( The only good item i got was burglars spiked bow...

Yes do quick cash map to prove it..ive gotten a purple jt leather lvl14 So you should be able to loot a pink one too

yeah i thought in 4 and 5 they would at least drop a purple if i solo it but only whites:(

Give it time, DF rates are low, and I'd join noob games because if they get one, they should give it up easy.

Stay out of the kings forest, that drops bone items, level 25-29.
Your best bet is to farm the hidden passage. This is a public map, so don't rush, just kill fast (actually as fast as rushing), and make sure everyone exits after it is cleared.

You are seeking Forest Chain of Legend.
Any boss in DF is good, but the level named It Must be Magic is best. Quick Cash will do, too.
PLEASE do not rush unless you HOST your own game. People who rush when they go through the Magic Portal are spoil sports. Think about the noobs who will clear it after you only to get no chance for any treasure at all.
p.s. If you were a level 14 archer, a Burglar's Spiked Bow would be desired.

I hope i find a jewel thief leather for my upcoming dexbear:)
I got a jt forest leather from barbrax in secret passage. And a purp forest chain from skeler =]
