Well I found that the slower the cast time for my weapon the easier for me to to kite or drag the enemy around the map.

With the the faster weapons I my character turns around much more slowing down the speed im running in.

The slower weapons make you turn less when attacking and let you keep a distance on your enemy easier.

Right now any type of caster class will have an easier time doing this because there staffs have a slower cast speed.

Archers are useless if you were to try this...

Thanks

Makes sense to me.

It's more realistic this way.

You reload more so it's more difficult to run. Whats the problem? :P

Problem is that right now that my dex bird is useless... I'm using talon and wing and I can not to proper pulls...

If I went smart bird it would be easier. Makes dex birds even more useless...

Also this kiting should not be based on speed of weapon that determines how well you do it.

If you're just pulling, just turn off autoattack after the first throw and you won't be turning anymore.

I understand this but i want to lure a enemy to a certain side it's hard to keep distance and keep aggro with the current setting of turning more with a faster wep.

Also the constant attacks on an enemy makes is less likely to reset.

Funny thing though, this decreases with a 'SUPER FAST' weapon.

Frequency of attacks has nothing to do with whether they reset - it's purely distance from where they spawned.

Alright.. I see, some lower level bosses don't reset though. Like all of them. Lol

But still, I just find it odd that the weapon speed affects your running speed when auto attacking.

Might have to use a cross bow in pvp to keep distance or circle events or shut off auto attack, same with pve...

With relation to attack speed, am I imagining things or do I attack faster the closer a monster gets? With monsters right on top of me my character is a blur of motion using a talon, farther away, the slower I appear to toss talons. Is this simply a graphics thing or am I actually attacking faster? (hard to tell with lagged mob damage updates over head)
