Mythic staff vs Mythic gun

For those interested here is the lowdown between the mythic staff vs mythic gun. These are the stats difference:

When the staff procs your stats go to this:

Seems like the staff procs more often then the mythic gun. Although the proc on the gun is a party buff and damages nearby enemies. So I am not sure if they are easily comparable.

I think the new mythic staff is amazing, elite mobs die now more faster.

The extra armor and hp allows me to stand in the middle of them, and even better when the proc is going, unlike the gun, i didnt used regular attack on mobs before, to prevent the accidental scatter effect.

I've fought 2different mythic staff user both with samael, got owned.
i killed the 1st one 2x but he killed me 7times.
2nd user, 1-2

I used curse/lightning on both but still not enough.

The diminishing crit is a nice feature just wish it lasted longer. You can time a lightning when the staff procs. I use this in boss fights even though I may not hit anything with my staff. I just keep firing it to get the proc and then time a lightning when it goes off. You can do something similar in PvP. Overall the staff has better stats then the gun so I think this is a bonus in PvP and elite PvP. Elites this season is very difficult so the boost in HP & armor helps.
