Can play second character(bear) but not main character (Mage)

Hi having a strange problem which is defiantly got nothing to do with my connection. This has been going for roughly around 18 hours, whenever I log in with my Mage it takes forever to load just load starting page (where you see your character) then when I enter town or press continue 9/10 it will say I have been disconnected...then I tried it with my bear and there was no problem at all everything loaded instantly... Any ideas???

Sometimes people experience slowness when they have lots of people on friends list and/or guild list. Do the two characters have a big difference in either of these lists? Having to load a really long list might be just too much for an iffy connection...

Help this is happening to me also. Cant play my mage.
