Archon ring brutality vs Blood of Shuyal

anyone sold their blood of Shuyal for Archon rings if Brutality 41int .. any good for mages compare to the old mythic ring?

I can only speak for myself when saying that archon rings are not worth the gold they're going for to me. Generally, Archon rings can add a tiny bit more damage, but that always comes at the cost of a TON of health points.

Below you'll find a screenshot with Blood ruby equipped, stats screen shows what you win (green) and what you loose (red) when switching to the ring you asked about (Archon Brut, int version)...

Blood Ruby is still pretty much the best I'd say for a mage. It boosts everything overall especially HP.

Jay, what doesn't show up in your screen shot is the +3.5% crit which is apparently like a passive stat that only shows up once you equip the ring. However, I agree that even with the extra crit the health lots is not worth the trade. However, if someone is doing timed runs or is clearing tombs and is not worried about health, these are good alternatives because of the additional damage. But for PvP or elite farming they are not as good as the mythic ring.

"Ruby Band of Brutality" is the most underrated ring for mages in the whole game and so cheap, i mean 7k vs 2.4M with nearly same stats even the difference to the myth ring is not to far!

there is a level 34 Night Ocean Ripple of Warfare which gives 3.1 Damage, 38 Int and 39 armor.
to me it is slightly better than Ruby Band of Brutality
