Elusive 4 achievement / where can we find them / post pictures

New achievement elusive 4 , is compose of 4 boss.

Skratch - Watcher Tombs 1-4 / Kraken Mines 1- 3 / Dead City
First Mate Ripper - Grog Beach / Skull Cove
Amra-zu - Tower of Mardrom / Arcanum Castle
Agrex - Halls of Valheim / Crystal Caverns / Oltgar Keep

These bosses will spawn randomly! no need to kill all mobs or amount of mobs

- Any skeleton can respawn into Skratch (WT, KM, Dead City)
- Any shark can respawn into Ripper (Grog, Skull Cove)
- Any giant demon can respawn into Amra-zu (Arcanum Castle, Tower of Mardrom)
- Any giant ice elemental can respawn into Agrex (CC, Oltgar, Valheim)

Yes confirmed. He can be found on the direct way to the boss but the exact place may be random.

My guess is mob spawns for last four new mobs to game (there are six types total).

*Skeletons (watchers tombs and krksne mines lvl3)
*Aiger (kraken maps)
*Yetis (nordr maps)
*and whatever the shuyal mobs are (i guess shadow mancers).

We know from screen shots that skratch spawns differently each time. I assume each boss replaces a random mob. Happy hunting.

Just standing alone. I believe it was the very end of the pier if you keep going straight from the start. He is super easy too. Not very elite at all.

I found Krunch but never found any of the elusive 4. I don't like these random APs. How is it an achievement to get lucky like this? Please less luck and more skill for these APs. Otherwise its so boring.

I see people running through the maps not killing anything. Do I really need to kill mobs for the small boss to spawn or is he already there?

We all called for new challenging and interesting APs and so we have it. No skill or gear needed, just running shoes :D

the pirate loot that ripper drops should not be the same name for all class.
i had a pirate loop of fatality for both warr and mage/rogue which i found out too late. sold the warr type ring for 1m less. tsk

I highly doubt there's a specific location butttttttt im pretty sure any of the Elusive 4 take the place of there normal counterpart mob (ripper=shark aggrax= Frost giant etc.)

Maybe this is just one of mobs you missed. There are many coward mobs in tombs, which like to spawn after you killed everyone and went away.

I'm being told that they are already spawned on maps when you first enter (so only need to run through and look). However, this would contradict your experience with Skratch, unless he was spawned from a necromancer which means he kind of already existed (??). When I found Skratch in WT4, my hunting partner said he was already standing there.

Sprtcuz: I might be wrong about these bosses spawning after a mob is killed, so you should leave that part out of the info you pasted on your original thread post. Otherwise, people might get confused or waste time killing stuff.

I entered halls of valheim and was immediately attacked by argex.
I have found amra zu and 1st mate many times each.

From what I have found on every map :
Arcanum castle
Tower mardrom
Grog beach
Skull cove
Halls if valheim

The bosses seems to have set spawn locations though there typically seem to be multiple in each map.
I have found 1st mate 3 times at 1 location and 5 times at snother on grog beach.
I have found him in 3 separate locations on skull cove.

Amra zu I have found in 2 spots in castle once each.
3 times in 1 spot and once in another on mardrom.

The pattern typically seems to be 1 spawn fairly close to spawn. And then a 2nd location towards the end if the map. No kill limit seems necessary in the least. I haven't seen scratch as much but hear say seems to tell me his wt4 spawn rate seems way higher than his km3 spawn rate.

Yes, he was spawned from a necromancer im sure now, there isnt any skeleton at right the entrance but 2 necromancer.

Yep, they will be spawned in place of a mob of the same likeness:

Skratch = skeleton warriors
Ripper = sharks
Amra-zu = giant demon (ones with hook hands)
Argex = giant ice elementals

Anywhere on a map where those types of mobs spawn is their set location. And as Haligali discovered, the skeletons that are summoned from Necromancers can also be Skratch - so let them spawn their 8 skeletons for maximum chances at Skratch!

Been farming all night for Argex and nothing yet. I would really like this AP!

The best way it seems is to farm Arcanum Castle/Tower for Amrazu with possibility of killing (2) birds with 1 stone when Skratch spawns.
Then focus on the other maps.

This does not work. You must have been hunting in Crystal Caverns or Oltgar, where the mobs yield a PvE kill.

This kind of stuff is so frustrating because I have no idea if I am doing anything right or wrong. I try to slow kill the mages so more skeletons spawn but he never appears. Seems like almost everyone has gotten this guy. So I don't know why I am having such a hard time.

falmear, he seems to be the MOST common. I ran into him a couple of times already and I wasn't even looking for him.

KM3 is definitely your best and quickest bet.

Ditto, Amra-zu is my last of the 4 and have run castle and tower what seems like well over 100 times. I have even fallen asleep for 10 minutes in the middle of a fight and wake up to mobs slashing and beating me with little effect.

Would it be helpfull if full pt with luck elix? Does it make difference if running alone or with pt?

I notice will find it with a low level on your party or same map

ive spent all week running maps for Ripper. no luck yet. ive seen the other bosses a bunch of times... just not Ripper. He must be arcane rare.

OK, so I decided to got for it. Only took about 3 hours PLUS I got a few Locked Chest along the way!

Skratch - Found in KM3
First Mate Ripper - Grog Beach, got on my FIRST time entering the Grog Beach (got lucky there)
Amra-zu - Found in Arcanum Castle
Agrex - Found in Oltgar Keep
