Did you watch the video? It's pretty obvious he is using pots, obviously a lot of them.

If you press the (]) button or something it makes you drink pots even if you can't by clicking it. Without that button, he would be a dead chicken

Yes I would die on the part with minions with no potions but with practice I can now do just the dragon with no pots or elixir
