STS re-released slag a couple weeks ago, they just forgot to update the description is all. It was a weekend event, just like they do with hammerjaw for shark week. Slag won't be buyable again until STS does another event or you get it through trade.

You can't get it through trade, it doesn't come in an egg form you just buy the pet heart beating, flames flying and it goes straight to your stable.

Thanks for the clarification, I didn't know that. Only started playing the game middle of last season so I figured it was like all the other limited release pets.
