It would be good to know is it a bug or not, before we buy these items.

I would not buy them. Because this is most likely a bug. And since everyone is hunting them more will come on to the market and the price will drop. I see plenty of people selling these things. Either way just wait until Monday. But I am pretty sure these will get nerfed.
