Ice auto Xbow??

It seems to be a rare drop. Even though its not a colored one, I have also been hunting it. And yes, it drops in the "ICE themed" map.

ive seen the ice auto cross-bow of finesse(epic). does this exist as a jewel thiefs ice auto cross-bow (legendary)

Don't worry about an auto crossbow, it's faster.
Meaning more single target damage.
And I don't see any maps with a big boss.
You need bows like snipers battle crossbow.
They are fast but slow enough to deal high damage.
When your using an aoe you want slower weapons for higher damage.
With a faster bow the aoe will hit them all alot lower.
However the slower bow will have high hits.

Example.... "auto crossbow"
30-40 DMG. .9 speed.... 50 dps.
"normal"
35-45 DMG. 1.0 speed... 50 dps.
These are just examples not correct calculations.
However they have the same dps...
But the auto is just for single targets.

Say you have a weapon that does 100 every second, your enemies have 75hp, 50hp, and 25hp left. It takes 3 hits and 3 seconds but you overshoot all of em. If you had one that was twice as fast with the 1/2 damage the 25hp would take .5/sec, the 50hp takes .5/sec, the 75hp takes 1/sec, but you have a second to spare for your next opponent.

this weapon would be nice to consider for pvping... IF IT ACTUALLY FREEZES TARGETS like the frost king bows..

being an ICE bow you think it would have a freeze proc.. but... IT DOESN'T lol

i was quite disappointed about this after i traded for it just for fun.

Well your not gonna be killing anything with that low of health...

Also why? Your spells won't hit as hard and you live off spells.
Haha and bad math.
If a weapon is 2x faster but half the damage...
It does the same damage. And if you use a spell with the slower one it
will hit harder.
And the 3 targets thing is false.
If they were all one hit kills...
Both bows would kill in the same amout of time because
your starting on a new target. So they would have the same first shot fire rate.
