I was in the guild castle & I saw something that caught my eye, players were typing nothing!
Example

That's it it would show up in the chat exactly like that, anyone know how this is done? (I've tried alt codes it doesn't seem to be working)

Write /g ~ or /t [Friends Name] ~
You can do more or less funny pranks with that. ;)

It works fine for me (iPod touch 4g)
Tilde doesn't show up at all in normal chat but as soon as I use /g ~ it shows up as

Ok... let me be specific then. Tilde is not a valid input for AL chat on a PC. You get the / command error message "Type /guildchat <message>" using your method.

I discovered it by accident in s2 and told my whole guild about it!
