45 Bird Guide!

Hey guys! Recently, I have discovered that a 45 bird is one of the most fun toons that I have ever played with. It can kill 45 mages, bears, and other birds. As well as 50s sometimes :D! Below are the combos, gear, and build I use, with tips included.

These are my current stats (showing specs on the left, not showing off my kd ;0). As you can tell, I am pure dex which makes my regain pretty low. If you want, you can check for some regain gear that is cheap in cs, but it doesn't help a ton.

Here is the gear I use, and two rings that are good.

My primary gear is scorpion helm of horus lvl 45, pink ballista lvl 45, and scorpion armor of osiris lvl 45.

You could also use a pink lvl 45 trueshot bow, but I wouldn't recommend it.

For birds-Break, root, blast, if they aren't dead, do blind and repulse to finish them off
For mages-Break, root, shattering, blast, blind, repulse ( if they ms, do blast, break, root, blind, repulse)
For bears-Blind, root, break, shattering, blast, repulse ( run back for cooldown, and you should finish them off with a second wave of that combo

Yes and because i found out avian does nothing (ty grag and trenton) and heal just did not seem important at this level

Put the extra point in thornwall? Idk.

Thorn wall is 10m at rank 4. Yes, but what's the point of taking 3 skill points out of something else to put into Thornwall just for it to be 10m? It's debuff is like root at 2, it's not a very good skill unless it's at 6, and it is AoE. I would definitely stop using root and just use Thornwall, but its CD is a pain in the butt.

1. Instead of putting 2 points into shatter, I would put 1 into shatter and then the other into restore, because H/S is important.
2. You should compare the trueshot bow and the ballista to see why you prefer ballista over trueshot.

Great guide and effort! I'm proud of you, Misfit. For one, Ballista= Range. For two, ballista has alot more damage, and you obviously need damage as a bird ._. It has higher DPS, yet you have to get in close and it's just not worth it imo.

I know that, but people who don't know that would be wondering why. Hence the reason why I think he should add that to the guide.

A few pointers:
-Use Osiris Helm since 1 more crit and 1 more dodge is more useful than 1 hs and 2 ms IMO.
-Take a point off shatter and move it to Avian. Yes it does not unroot but it is still decent damage when you are out of moves to spam or when a bear lands beckon. Not to mention you can stun with it and do super repulse(Avain Repulse)
-Use Isis Helm, Wing, Armor, and a Shiv Talon for regen
-Your acrobats fine platinum band is level 10, level 20 version has 2 more damage.
