Should I get sun god or sharp set?

Sharp has higher damage and hit% so it's a more offensive set. Whereas sun god is a dex xbow set so I wouldn't reccomend that for a Mage, if you mean goddess then it's a more defencsive set, depends on your playing style but I prefer sharp.

Eh, I wouldn't say luck based, it's a damage set.

You have to be slightly skilled in the mage business, sharp set is super squishy but you can nuke like hell.

Yes sharp requires a lot more skill. I'm not a fan of dodge and never have been, imho dodge just overcomes skill and I'd rather use skill to beat an opponent then a luck stat.

I think Goddess has 20 dodge compared to Sharp's 8. I don't play int, so these may be way off.
And a good Sharp mage can smoke a 71 bear. ;)

EDIT: what's your 71 Mage's IGN Tron? Don't see it in list.

Yah ^ you think you would need dodge vs bears, nope. Not if ur a good Mage. Sharp > goddess.
