I've been running Oltgar Keep so many times to find Krunch now, but Ive still had no luck finding him. And it gets really boring after some time to do the same map alone over and over again.

So I'd like to know if anyone here on the forum also need this? In that case, post your ign and lvl, so we can go and run it together!
It will be more fun and easier if we get a party going, even if its just 2 persons.

What class you are doesnt matter.
Here is my relevant info:

Try oltgar and valheim ftr defeating d boss.. Alternately so youll not be bored.. :)

Run in a large party. Idk why, but the odds for appearance seem to increase. I can run solo all day and never see him. I get in a full party of lv36 and all the rare bosses appear often.

Met krunch after 10 try in oltgar keep. Btw krunch is quite tough, i'm rogue with full mythic but he can kill with single hit. Idk if its bug or not, but you cant invite friends to join map if krunch already spawn

Im full mythic myself rouge myself. And unfortunately I dont think u can invite friends after killing the boss in maps. Thats also one of the perks of getting this thread going, so we hit it as a team when it first appears.

Very true. calculate the odds of seeing a rare boss running solo versus running a full party. the odds increase. ive seen and played it. ive ran for weeks solo with no boss... then i get in a good full party and i see any boss 2-8 times per day.

You do kill the boss, right?

I'm pretty sure he only spawns now after the boss is killed. They made that change in an update last month.

Yes u have to kill the boss to have a chance for them to spawn.

I also think that LordDravek's theory is rt

There are two possibilities:
1. The rate of spawn is affected by x players (like each player have 0.1 % (random number)), or
2. Its a certain spawn rate after killing the boss independent from the number of players participating.

Its just two different theories, but Id guess #2 would be the best solution, and therefore Id guess thats what STS went for. Would be nice to get a confirmation, tho

generally i prefer to solo frosty - its quite easy to solo but lets make party for fun and hunt him down.
