Currently, our core group is focused on growth in these 2 areas - PVE/Elite Farming and Wealth, with the view of a gradual but steady increase in PVP presence. One banner, one vision. Everything we do has to be fun, and done with friends. This section will be updated as we evolve.


Leadership Style

In a nutshell : With a vision - Confident; relaxed but firm. Our officers hail from many different walks of life - we're lucky to have some of the most caring, down-to-earth people you will meet anywhere. We've never liked the elitist attitude, so we never adopted it. Everyone is valuable, not just a number or rank.

We have a knack for seeing through armour to spot a player's potential, and aren't afraid to step back and let our people shine. In fact we strive to lead our people into independence, with a theme of sustainable sharing - over-dependency is viewed as something to be conquered.

All members enjoy plenty of room to create, explore and flourish, with a nice support structure and safety net.



Specialists

Our vets who hail from larger MMOs are able to coach and run with players at any given skill level. We attract many hardcore gamers with casual playtimes, and casual gamers with hardcore playtimes.

Some of us are well-known twink leaders and multi-level PVP / PVE specialists; We excel at grooming twinks who want to hit the endgame fast and furious.

As a whole, we're able to run any PVE map efficiently and maximize yields. As long as you're able to work with our teams and adopt our methods well, it's pretty much a given.

Several of our core players are also entrepreneurs in RL and/or make a living off showing others ways to exercise their powers effectively. We've hand-picked and successfully mentored skilled PUGs (http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/113171/what-is-the-definition-of-a-pug) and twinks to both twink and endgame leaderboard level.

Here, we do the same things as everyone else a little differently - your current level and gear is not that important. We look at your skill level and how serious you are about getting geared and getting to endgame. We pick epic aptitude (level : crier) over arcane egoes any day. There are some things in life that can't be bought or taught!

These Arena/Shuyal-based workshops are designed to give max benefit to players of different stages of learning -


whether you can't seem to stay alive (beginner),
wanting to farm a little faster (intermediate),
or tweak techniques/push limits (advanced).


Be surprised to find out that speed/survival really isn't always about sporting the prettiest bling. A lot of you haven't enjoyed as much since AL went heavier on the freemium factor - Well, f freemium - I'll show you how to bring back that fun factor back into the game and cut your "insert token to continue" plat spend.

Find out where you stand, get up to speed or break through learning plateaus, and get what you want just that wee bit quicker. :)

Starts this: Thursday 6:00pm (PST) / Friday 12:00pm (SYD Australia time)
Ends this : Saturday 6:00pm (PST) / Sunday 12:00pm (SYD Australia time)


This weekend Stanonater & myself (Vulgardisplay), are proud to be hosting our 5E events. We are encouraging members to work together, make friends, & try new things. Should be fun and definitely worth your time…over a MILLION worth in Prizes/Gold!!!

To kick off events on Thursday (for Westerners) / Friday (for Easterners):

Stan and myself will be asking two (2) trivia questions each day (at 6pm Pacific/12pm Sydney), for three (3) days.
For each trivia question, the first person to answer it correctly wins a prize.

(Since some of the trivia questions may require you to search certain maps. You will not be required to meet in the Guild Hall to participate for the trivia questions…simply just be online during the trivia events.)

Rules:

1. Your hunting party can only consist of Five Elements members. (guild member event only)
2. Your screenshot must show the item you found & the members in your party when it was found. (Must be able to see both to qualify).
3. Hold on to the item until either Stanonater or Myself can verify it’s Level & Stats. (this will be required in the judging of which is best)
4. In the event of a two-way tie, the first person/team to have posted their winning pic in the guild forum will be the winner(s).

Prize:

500k gold will be awarded to the best “Hunter/Looter” to keep, or to share with their winning party (highly suggested).

From the deepest depths of our darkest desires springs the
Special Arlorean Liberation Army of Daring Streakers (SALADS). (echo echo echo)

Sick of being bound by the blasphemous bondage of overpriced and rather ugly gear, our Agents of Change at Five Elements launched an investigatory investigation to investigate the origin of it all.

Our operatives made a horrific discovery. No, it's not about a Dev's video tape, that's in next week's news. The mobile game fashion industry has lied to STS about our gear being made in Italy by super-hot lady-smurfs of the Sighing Order (who are so beautiful that we bet they're definitely the Top 25 good-lookin' smurfs you can see on the street (Depending on the street))

No, my friends, our stock is notlovingly hand-made by pin-up pixel pixies. They are mass-produced in the sweat shop dungeons of Outpost by nasty little goblins who've been sighted as extras in Japanese animes with unmentionable titles (not that we've personally sighted them). And that kind of low frame-rate is completely unacceptable. The mastermind behind it all is he-whose-name-nobody-ever-remembers.

It's the mid-boss of WT1.

Hence, SALADS was born (we travel light, no dressing, get it? ha-ha..er..).

Word is that you can only get into that special part of the dungeon by giving a secret code in body language . Unfortunately goblins never discovered glasses or contact lenses, so they make everyone strip to see everything clearly. They devised a clever device that detects equipped equips - we don't have a reason why they never invented airport-style body scanners. Goblin (il)logic. Anyway the point is, if u equip something they bring in WT1 midboss's body double. Mission fail.

It's time to fight at their level, my friends. Tonight we strip for liberation. Twice.

When :

Twice for Agents in opposite time zones.

All times in (+8 GMT)

Race 1 :Sat 8am-10am (Friday 5pm-7pm L.A., California time)
Race 2 :Sat 10pm-12mn (Sat 7am-9am L.A., California time)


How :

WT1 mid-boss never quite got over not making it as end-boss, so his OTT-ness is similar to short-goblin syndrome. He will not spare the pinches.

First, we gather at pier for a warm-up race.

And then, go in a full party of
4 Agentsand penetrate the enemy.

And then, gather at Guild Hall to celebrate our victory. Killwithfire burned down all the bushes and broke the barrels during the last Hall Party so BYO bushes and beer.

And then, no more and then.

A big thank u to everyone who lent their support for the tourney, esp our pvp team for being so accommodating today despite ur busy schedules - ik some of u canceled work to be here, u all turned up early and we finally got the translation done (thx ace), match started a few hrs late and u had to be woken up in between hahaha - I can't imagine how you're gonna wake up to a full day's work in a couple of hours.

Leo showed after a long rough day at work in a country with a 46-hour avg work week, Rhiva u logged on to work thru the strat with us although u were having final exams in a few hours. Reroll u canceled work for the match and Panda laid the law with his paw until he couldn't stay awake anymaw - with these two it's "time is money" on a whole new level (sorry no company claim for this I'm poor. do u take canned bamboo and stuff). Kenny and Sadis, I don't know what u say in Bahasa but the 1% that Ace translated sounded fkin amazing. Pae wish school would let up so u cld been here to laugh it off wit us.

I want u to know I appreciate that, and u guys r amazing. :-) No one else I'd rather be running with.

We might not have won this time but y'know what, everything's a learning experience, every fall takes u one step closer to the goal.. important thing is to get up and keep going. Language may need translation (we do better in this area next time ahahaha), but we have something really solid that don't.. Let's hold onto that and continue to do good things together. Fortunately u r very robust individuals with hearts of gold so I know we can count on each other for that.

These Arena/Shuyal-based workshops are designed to give max benefit to players of different stages of learning -


whether you can't seem to stay alive (beginner),
wanting to farm a little faster (intermediate),
or tweak techniques/push limits (advanced).


Be surprised to find out that speed/survival really isn't always about sporting the prettiest bling. A lot of you haven't enjoyed as much since AL went heavier on the freemium factor - Well, f freemium - I'll show you how to bring back that fun factor back into the game and cut your "insert token to continue" plat spend.

Find out where you stand, get up to speed or break through learning plateaus, and get what you want just that wee bit quicker. :)
