Heck no... Do you know how much newer, more powerful, and especially RARER equipment the devs have to come out with, just to balance out the high quantities of mythics and arcanes?

My head hurts just thinking about "junk mythics and junk arcanes."

Maybe they would make it like opening crates for 10 Plat instead of 15 for a weekend, but not free.

Lol no, the crates would be raise to 100k+ in 2/3 minutes, and everyone will farm crates for the whole weekend. And the eggs are still rare.

At that rate... Talons, Orions, Ethyls, McCraws, etc... They will drop so low.

The auction prices will be so low that the only thing that will stop them from dropping any further, will be the fact that listing prices have to be higher than the fees.

For 25k? Some people have multi-millions worth of gold... Mythics/Arcanes will still drop in ridiculously low prices, just not as bottomlessly low...

As a company, you're basically going up to them & making a proposal: "Hey, so why don't you give us your top selling product for free for an entire weekend! Thousands of it!"

Yea...no. There's already a free to open crate: elite golden pirate/warchests/puzzleboxes.

Someone had posted the idea of a mythic rarity chest which is essentially an unlocked crate (same loot contents/chances as locked crates). I still like that idea. As far as a free way to open crates, the only way to do this is by doing free offers for plat. Not what you wanted to hear, I know, but that is it.
