Pokemon X and Y released today

For all of you pokefanatics like me, Pokemon X and Y will feature a 3D world, stunning graphics (for a 3DS), and new Mega Evolutions. Depeneding on which version u get, u can get Mega Charizard X and Mega Mewtwo X in Pokemon X, and Mega Charizard Y and Mega Mewtwo Y in Pokemon Y. Includes 70+ new pokemon (less than any generation, but counting mega evolutions is more than Ruby Sapphire) and pokes from previous gens.

Pokemon was my life growing up :p in elementary school I remember running around pretending to be pokemon everyday from like 2nd grade-5th grade. Pokemon games are pretty much just remakes of the other pokemon games.

I think Pokemon went downhill after Diamond/Pearl. Fire Red and Leaf Green ftw when the chips were like huge and were played on Gameboys! ^_^

I didn't think they even made more after black and white came out. The last time I played was on Black before my DS broke and I then decided I'm kind of old for Pokemon. But I'm sure ill be hearing about the new Pokemon a lot since my little cousin is crazy for it. He has every game, every card, he owns the movies and television shows.

If you're into the old school Pokemon games you'll definitely enjoy this one. Graphics are much nicer and I love the 3D during battles. I'm currently on "X". I'm gonna finish it before I go into "Y" but either one looks amazing.

To all that are getting the games, i say: LUCKY YOU.
I played every single pokemon game but i was raised up with Gold and Silver. Love every pokemon game and every pokemon( well except for MILTANK with WITNEY in the silver/gold games .-.) pretty much was excited for X and Y but i can't get a 3ds anymore. :sad: oh well. Enjoy the games Guys!!

What's so funny? The fact that you're too cool for Pokemon, yet after a friend starts playing it you're willing to pay $150 + $40 and tax being almost $200 to play one game, that just a few days ago you were definitely not interested in.

We can't decide for you, but if you want our opinions...I would choose the 2DS if you are strictly buying it for XY. 3DS if you are planning on picking up other non-Pokemon games.

I got Black simply because I like that color better, but as I advanced further on I realized I would have been better off with White.

I got X because I like the letter X better than the letter Y and because of the version exclusive Pokemon.
