I wrote a grant for my classroom (and 4 other schools in my district) for iPad labs. We were grantrd the iPad pabs and they included the new iPads with them. Our labs also included 2 new Macbook Pros, 20 iPads, a docking station/cart, Max-cases for all of them, keyboards (don't have the keyboafds yet), and a new Brother printer.

They are the regular sized and have 16gbs. I can't really compare it to anything because it is the first time I have ever used an iPad. I can say it is very smooth (runs PL very well... zero lag), has exceptional battery life, and very good educational apps (which is what I mainly use it for.) I am sure it does a lot more but have not ventured into it all yet (only had it for a week.)

I carry a dumbphone but also takes(used to take) an Ipad 2 w/ 3g around with me. Guess which device I use for instagram? The bigger screen makes spotting details easier. But yeah, lugging a 10 in" tablet around is even harder than having someone kill me in pvp.
