I tried. I came back with a positive attitude, thinking I could make a difference in this community. Instead when I try to help people in game, I get immature and stupid remarks back at me. No I will not go into detail as to what happened, but in all honesty, I'm really over this. The kind and generous community I used to love is now gone. I'm sick of the trolling, cocky, immature and bullying attitudes I see every...single...day. I remember when this game had absolutely ZERO trolls. When that returns, I'll be the first one to come back.

Im still going to remain semi active on forums, posting what I can and helping out some of the other few that still care. But when it comes to the actual game, don't expect to see me on very often. I'm blessed to be a part of your guy's lives, and I love spending time with the friends I've made.

This probably looks pretty bad, as I've been posting lately that I'm going to try harder to make a difference. But to Crim, WhoIsThis, and Ghost, I don't have the same hope that you guys do. You three are absolutely amazing people, that never give up on the community. I really hope the immaturity never gets to you :)

I totally feel you, buddy. A minute ago, I was in game and was in the mood to just PvP... "rushing". The response someone gave me involved sexual harassment and it's absurd.

I probably should be quitting/taking a break too ^^. I don't really have much left in game, considering all of my close friends/guildies quit.

At least stop by and brighten up the room with your presence every now and then.

Ill admit, I troll sometimes too, but really only to my friends. I'd never troll or make fun of anybody I don't know, because you never know what that person is going through.

Well Moth, you may not have remembered me, but I remember you. When I first joined these forums I saw your attitude and other player's attitudes (StompArtist, Flowman, Liberty, Skeletonlord and more) and it inspired me to help in maintaining the forums like you guys. I hated how just several months later into 2012 when AL was released, a steady flow of (quote-on-quote) "childish and immature" players who only like to complain joined up. It did ease up a bit when you came took that step forward. Hopefully all won't be lost on the forums, but do what you do best out there.

I have to admit, I'm not optimistic either.

My advice to you would be to try many games and see what you like.

- In terms of community, the 4X gaming community (with the notable exception of a game called SOTS2, which is notorious for it's over-defensive community), is among the best, but the problem is 4X gaming has entered a period of stagnation.
- FPS games generally have poor communities all around. The exception being ARMA, which tends to revolve around ex-military types and the players there are generally older (although some sub-communities have decline).
- MOBAs are pretty new player unfriendly and should be avoided.
- MMOs are generally unfriendly. That said, I've heard good things about a few niche MMOs.
- RPGs are generally friendlier (the more hardcore the RPG, in general, the more friendly, but you won't "belong" unless you're a hardcore RPGer).
- Certain strategy games have good communities, although others are very unfriendly. It seems to vary. In general, the more hardcore ones have better communities.

I'm not really into sports games, but I have heard bad things.
