When you are upgrading the helm, does destroying the tombs (which were the crates and barrels before) get you materials to upgrade your mythic helm?
Can you get the material if you sold your helm?

Destroying the tombs u can get the pieces to upgrade the helm.
U get them only if u are wearing the helm though.
U must wear both mythics when upgrading them...read the guide in the guide section.

Are you sure that pieces can be found in tombs too?
After two days of "hard" farming i've found only two pieces so far, is it normal?

Both from barrels.

As u can read it says:
This one is a pretty straightforward quest wherein you need 16 shard pieces to upgrade the helm. These shards are found in barrels and crates in the maps of Kraken. It took me a few days to complete because these pieces are found rarely.
U can get the pieces to upgrade the helm both from crates n tombs IN THE MAPS OF KRAKEN!!! (if u farm the tombs in other maps u just waste ur time).
After two days of "hard" farming i've found only two pieces so far, is it normal?
It's normal cause they are very rare and as u can read from above even before the Halloween event it took a few days to complete the quest.
So just keep farming in the Kraken maps.

2 pieces in two days, remaining 14 pieces in two hours lol.
I was only unlucky 😁

For me it took 5 days first 4 days got 5pieces the remaining 11 pieces on 5th day within 1hr... :)
I farmed only harbor

I needed about 1,5 hrs for all 16 pieces...
I switched between Harbor, Grog and Skull Cove...
