A good warbird would easily kite beckon and hs.

You're going to have to kite a str bear at low levels.
Get hit by that cb and hs, well almost gg.
I dont think a 32 warbird would kill a 30/35 str bear by going meelee against them. Mine sure didn't.
I kited them with my handy root and arrows.

Edit; And by the way, you singled out the "Warbirds would kite" which makes it look a warbird just kites, when they have to kite str bears.

Why did you say it three times... anyways what i was getting at was that warbirds simply do not kite, they just run and spam skills. Correct term would be to run and repulse their cb/hs.

Run in? Thats the technique? I am so dead when I do dat D:
I usually do this:
Run a bit back/wait for bear to come, as soon as he comes 13m range, I go a tiny bit in, repulse AND RUNNN FOR MAH LIFE. Then I go in, root em, and use mah arrowz. If I have a shatter build, then I go in while they're rooted and use cruel blast.

Is dat good trenny?

Is dat good trenny? I was sayin run away lol... Running away isnt kiting, its just annoying (even tho I'm a warbird on most of my chars) and yes, that's pretty much what ya do^

No no, not really run away (like how people go around the whole map and outlast your buffs...then kill u once u have no buffs) but going a few bits away so the bear thinks ue can land beckon when he cant xD

Iceberg bears have nice hp regen so killing them bit by bit isnt an option. In close combat bear owns every class. If bear can get HS in, your warbird is done.
Basically after the nerf low lvl birds are really really underpowered. At 32 they got some change vs other classes but still they are weaker.
Birds focu needs some damage bonus and more crit so they could have even a little change vs mages and bears

Birds rock in FFA though
