Introduction:

We are an international guild with members all over the globe. We believe that unity between members of different cultural backgrounds is the key to success in pvp, pve, and all other aspects of Arcane Legends. Our aim is to provide every member active support, awesome experience, and long lasting friendship.

1. Officers and reqruiters required to wear guild title.
2. No begging, no scamming, no spamming guild chat
3. If two members are involved in a scam, both innocent and guilty party will be kicked.
4. If you are trying to sell item in guild try to offer a discount.
5. No foul language between members or other players. Be polite!
6. No disputes between members in guild chat. Contact a officer or the GM to mediate the problem.
7. Stay active! Consistent nonactive members will not receive promotions!
8. Offer support when possible. We are in this together!!!
9. Do not ask for promotions. If officers see a talented player it will be voted on.
10. Most importantly, lets have some fun and share many laughs! :D

True, but jumping from rank 1000 to rank 143 is still not as accomplishing as jumping from rank 60 to rank 2. Now THAT'S quite an achievement.

Actually only total AP is used to pick the top 50 guilds. Once the top 50 guilds are picked, then the other statistics (ctf kills, ctf flags, etc) are used to rank those top 50 guilds from 1 to 50. So if our goal is to make the top 50 list, we really only need more APs. This means more players regardless of quality. This is why many small elite guilds will never make it to the top 50 list. I for one prefer quality over quantity, although both quality and quantity would be nice! :)

Once you make the top 50 based on AP, the you are given a ranking from 1 to 50 in each of the categories (pve k/d, pve kills, ctf k/d, ctf kills, TDM k/d, TDM kills, ctf f/d, ctf flags, ap, account age, etc). Your ranking from each of these categories is then averaged to get an overall rank on the top 50 list. This averaged overall rank is then used to order the top 50 guilds from 1 to 50.

So what does this mean for us? If you have a smaller guild with high quality players (with good k/d and kills in pve, ctf and tdm), once you get enough ap to make the top 50 you will jump to the top of the top 50 list. This is what happened to Elitista last week. They got just enough ap to make the top 50 list and jumped immediately to number 9 because of the quality of their players. I think if our guild got enough ap to make the top 50 the same would happen with us. :)

I just crunched some more numbers... The 50th rank in AP on the top 50 guild list had 2,130,000 APs. If your guild consisted solely of leaderboard players with 16,000 AP, you would need 2,130,000÷16,000 or approximately 133 guild members. Our guild currently has about 70 members, not all with 16,000 AP, so we are a little under half way there to making the leaderboards, of course if that is your goal!

But the thing is, we need people who have 10000+ AP. That'll probably get our rank a little higher


I disagree. Take everyone who fits your profile. The more activity the more word gets out there. Everyone with, say, just 5000 k Achiev-points is someone who may know some more guys and bring them in. Its like a cascade. The hard part is to get that thing rolling.

Maybe create some incentives. Recruiting rewards. Things like that may help.
Oh,... and ask people why they are leaving. Maybe you find out what you need to work on more. When people leaving in numbers, then there is something wrong within the guild.

We kinda stopped recruiting in between.. gotta start that again :P
Np we r still strong.. mostly the guild hoppers left… we still have the awesome loyal ones with us ^_^
