Delete character? is there confirmation?

So i was changing to my second character and i almost hit the delete character button by mistake, got me to think, whatwould have happen if i clicked it by mistake, all the aps and gold and work would just go ?

you would have to type the name

You have to type your character name again to confirm deleting.
Even if you delete your character by mistakes, you can find it back by emailing support.
