Who thinks fox needs a skill that unfreezes/breaks root. I mean seriously, every other class has a skill that does so.
Bear-stomp
Bird-avian scream
Rhino and Mage-heal
Why doesn't fox have one? It desperately needs it. If a fox gets rooted/froze it renders almost all skills useless. I don't think it would be that hard to make say perhaps the orange scream, forget what it's called to be able to break root and unfreeze. Who agrees?

I agree, fox can't escape it.

This became more of a problem when evasion was changed from a 5 sec cool down to 15 sec. I agree un-root/freeze should be on a skill not a buff.

I think what keeps a rhino unrootable is the guardian skill not heal, and it approximately lasts about 8 seconds. I personally think they should add the same effect to foxes evade, but with 3 seconds.

I dont agree as thats the only way to catch those annoying foxes that rush and run in endgame

Fox's evasion skill unroots u. It's even in it's description.yes but that's a buff that players use to not even get rooted in the first place. What if ur avian scream was a dodge buff? Would u save it until u got rooted?

It was halfway ok when it was a lower time. But now it's really bad.

Beckon hs timed roots and freezes will stil do the trick.

Also why dodge debuff is last part of the combo? Am I the only who thinks its bs? Like blasts were debuffs, cmon -_- darts should debuff dodge, not a slash. Imo.

Debuff with hypno would be my choice

Ya but if they have a skill that gets out of it they can run

Debuff with hypno would be my choice That'd be like a level 1 beckon with -50 dodge, that would be overly crazy in a way.

Where are those numbers from? I was just saying any debuff with hypno would be nice. It's the only 12m skill a fox has.. While I'm getting debuffed from every other class from 12m! A little hit or dodge debuff might give me a reason to put more points in it than 1. Because the damage definatly isn't worth it.

Whoops, I thought you were referring to the Hamstring debuff as "needing more range," so I thought you meant to take that debuff and put it into hypno o.o

Every class has a weakness. I don't think fox should get a another skill that unroots it.

I wish foxes had "a" weakness. Here are a few of the top of my head.

1- Heal is worthless.

2- Rabid bite only leaps with 1 skill point.

3- Only one 12 meter skill.

4- Using fox as dex (like it should be) is almost unheard of because of its squishyness.

5- With no new cap there will be no vanity bonus rings for fox or rhino.

6- Healing roots/freeze is a buff not a skill. Pointless after buffing for a fight.

7- Almost no aeo skills.

8- Too many delayed skills on a character built on speed.

9- Target changes for no apparent reason mid fight.

10- Can't break a mana shield. Could a bird kill a Mage without blast?

Sorry to sound like a whiner. I play fox for the challenge and a change from the norm. But in most aspects it's far from an even fight. If I didn't like it I wouldn't play fox. But I definitely don't use fox because of its opness.

In fact they can. I saw this bird called Shilooo who would own everyone and every mage. Haxor alert! :)

These are all great reasons why fox needs a rebalance. I don't believe that merits him anything that someone suggests to his benefit. I play fox as well and would love to see him be more competitive. However, I simply don't believe that another unfreeze skill is the best solution.

Getting unfroze May be the least of the foxes problems. I wasn't looking for another skill to unfreeze, just a different one. And I agree with you. Something needs to change for the fox to be more competitive. I'll let smarter people than me decide what that should be.

Honestly, IMHO it needs to be the fox scream, so that skill can have a purpose. Same as birds scream.

I'm not tracking with you. Can you put two and two together? (I can be a little slow sometimes ;) )
