Not in game that us got sure, try gifting him in the iTunes store.

You will have to send him a 10 or 20 dollar "gift" in the itunes store to do this. Or, since he is family, log in under your itunes, but his game account, and buy the platinum that way.

No. Plat is real money. If they allowed it to be exchanged, the Fed would want to tax it as income. I kid you not. My wife is a tax accountant and they already have enough trouble with Second Life assets. STS is wise to stay away from any tax issues at all.

When you purchase platinum in game (iphone/ipod/ipad version), whatever pocket legends game account is logged in at the time will receive the platinum. When you purchase via amazon, you enter account credentials for the pocket legends game account which will receive the platinum.
