i think you're expecting too much from a mobile game, the comparison here should be to AL/PL rather than WoW. as a clone of WoW, OC is definitely better than either AL or PL, however, PL and AL have a different distinctive style and it becomes a matter of preference.

I took a break from Order and Chaos last year, and I chose to come back on and see what's new. When I got onto the application, I am prompted by the game to update it. When I press the update button to update the game, I get an error message.
I bought the game from Gameloft so I went back on their website to see if I could just send myself some sort of updated installer... but their store doesn't have O&C at all.
Do you know what happened there and what I can do to update my game?

Thought u were going well with s2? I usually go in 4s for honour points farm, and rank up in 2s seems to work the best. Just need to find the right partner for your class. Soon as you do, you both start learning each other's play styles and go from there. Explain each others shortcomings after losses/near wins, duel to help show if needed. Usually when u do find the right one, everything just seems to fall into place.

Really enjoy Battlefield's but not many que unfortunately. Top on my server from before they increased the rank given, tho atm but its hardly used so doesn't mean much.

Did you still keep the game on the device? From the way you worded it I'm assuming you did. I know this is going to sound really silly. But uninstall the current OnC you have on the device. Then reinstall from scratch, has happened to me in the past while taking a break through client updates. This is the only thing that seems to work.

I think I found my latest apk for the game. I installed that, but the 1,576.63 MB download always stops at the 52.50 MB mark.
I'll try and visit Gameloft's website one more time.

I uninstalled the old version of Order and Chaos that I had on my phone "Mendel Rising", and I then used my most recent apk of the game to reinstall it back on (I managed to get past the problems stated above).
I was unable to log into the game, though, as I was stuck on the "Checking Updates..." screen.
I haven't gotten onto Gameloft's website yet.

New dungeon, new way to enhance the look of your gear, and they revamped the warrior's skill tree (it's completely different). Honestly, I'm just gonna wait until someone comes out with a decent guide for the talent tree.... I have no idea what to use.

I'm actually on TC right now. I found a pretty fun guild, they manage to be in the top 5 guild leaderboard every week.

PvP has been a breeze on the dps war, I've thoroughly been enjoying it. I have a 2v2 arena rating of 2000+, so it'll be fun to see where it goes.

The new update doesn't allow power leveling. Now the only way to level up is to do this the old-fashioned way, and/or with players of your same level range.

Save all of them for end game. Unless you want to level up quickly (which makes sense), then spend them on XP boosts. Otherwise, every rune is extremely precious for endgame gear.

Hi all, I'm new in game and I want to ask a couple of things. First, whats the best race for divine monk? Second, what's best to play dps warrior or tank and which race for each of them? Thank you in advance :)

The race perks aren't a huge deciding factor.

Mendels can make a fruit that can restore 15% health I believe, which is nice for pvp since it will reset every match, normally it has a pretty slow cooldown, also the fruit is tradeable.

Elves get a mana regen buff which mainly helps military monks and mages.

Humans can place a campfire which boosts all regen, not a big help considering health doesn't regen in combat, as long as mages/monks stay in range the mana regen is useful.

Undead have a smoke cloud sneak buff, never used this so not completely sure best way to benefit from it.

Orcs get a sizable self heal/regeneration buff, but this can't be used in combat.

Generally I think warriors look the best as orcs, since they're so big, it really makes them look like tanks.
As a warrior, dps is the better build for pvp, tanks are far more desirable in dungeons.
Also if you end up as dps war please don't be the guy enter dungeons as a tank and getting everyone killed.

As far as I know races don't have any different stat variables; it is just all based on your gear. So I guess for a divine the undead or mendel would have the most benefit, like a potion to use in combat or to be invisible as a healer would help probably.

Dps warriors were recently nerfed because they were ridiculously powerful. They still are an extremely strong class, I think ice mages are their main weakness now, archers are going to be even weaker vs warriors in the next update though.

Very true, nice little, more than likely unintentional perk of being a mendel.
Personally, humans are my favorite. But pretty if you get geared up well and race looks pretty epic.

Also unless you intend to spend runes, each race gets a certain basic mount type which might help make your decision.
Humans get horses
Mendels get chinchillas
Undead get some like undead dog/wolf mount
Elves get deer
Orcs get lions

It is definitely overwhelming to get into at first. If you plan to play as dps, I would recommend a mage as it is probably most desired dungeon dps class or a military monk, just because they are more fun to level.

i do 2s with friends mostly. usually people im helping.
my 4s though i have a squad i usually role with who are 4/6 s3+ but once i get my shoulders I wont care about my rating. its 2332 atm
I was at 2380 and then i just got hella unlucky que wise and it dropped.

You are honestly better off just asking some of the forumers on here. The community here is pretty tight, and plus there are a lot of intelligent guys here. So just PM others around and you'll get some good feedback for Order and Chaos help.

When it's the christmas event, you do dailies to get the currency to buy them. I can't remember what the currency is. But yeah do those or buy them from other people. 30,000 gold though... You must have a tonnnn. I bought my 3 for 900g

I can help you get to 70 pretty quick. You just gotta run agn/MZN/FMN back to back and you should be at 70 in a week or so

I just recently started playing OaC, and have so far played on a EU sever. However, I wanted to play on a more populated server, and while researching i came across this thread :) I have now started a char on the AF realm, due to your recommendations, and was hoping to comnect with some of you awesome people in-game - I hope some of you would like to do that. I dont know anyone who plays OaC, and am now starting over. Im very experienced in playing other MMOs and know how much enjoyment i get from meeting cool people and perhaps finding a good guild too :) And since none of my IRL friends (not many girls play where i live) play i hope i can meet some people this way.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but just south of Brutos camp there's fisherman that give good xp. That or find a group and run agn or mzn for lots of quick xp. I think it's like 225k xp per run. It's been too long that I forget if that number is correct.

Hmm, seems my first post didn't go through - I have to quote something to get my message on the board... So I'm not trying to be a douche, but quoting myself here to get my message through ;)

I havnt played in 3 weeks now, because I was banned during the great ban-wave that took place a few weeks ago. Gameloft wouldn't give me an explanation as to why they banned me, so now I got all my money back from App-Store at least. But I think I'll play the game again, even though I'm afraid to be randomly banned again (before you ask, I'm new to the game and for too much of a noob to know how to abuse bugs or whatever).

Anyhow, just wanted to give a reason as to why I havnt been online for a while, if anyone has tried to contact me.

I tried writing a few people from this board that agreed to meet up in-game, via the ingame Mail system, but I havnt heard back. I'll try again, and if I have no luck, I'll write here again and see if I have some names wrong or what ever. Hope to catch ya soon :)

If I have time will try to help run the dungeons with some 70s on your team you can get the XP really fast.
If not I think fml mobs give a bunch of xp especially if you have the saintly blessings

It really just depends on what you like to play. All the classes are vital. There's not a single useless class in the game.
And it's honestly pretty balanced.

Yes, that's correct. Currently s3 is best PvP gear and t4 is best PvE gear. Both earned from that respective aspect.

T3 gear is from dungeons agl/mzl. T4 is from dungeons csl, bnl, idl, and the new one coming out.
S2/s3 is pvp gear. In order to buy pvp gear you have to play 2v2's, 4v4's, and battlefield. You gain honor points. If you want to buy s2 first you need to trade your honor points in for arena points. 500 hp=1500 ap.
for s3, you will need honor points and rate. You gain rate when you win games, and lose rate when... you lose.
But each s3 piece has a certain rate requirement.

In addition most PvE gear requires max crafting level which can take quite some time and some gold to get capped or you can just cap it for actual money.
Generally for crafting you will need powerful runes which are extremely expensive due to demand, and essence of epoch which are earned through running dungeons.
T3 recipes are bought with mechanical gears which are pretty easy to obtain. T4 recipes are purchased for large quantities of souls which can be earned in dungeons or through quests.
For both PvP and PvE gear gems will be a very important part of making your set "more complete"; gems can be dropped in dungeons or for stamina and resilience gems purchased with honor points. There are also very strong gems that can be earned through the Mist Trader camp and the daily trial quest from the camp.

Yeah that's my only issue with a popular MMO. It's constantly changing, and once your behind you can never truly appreciate the gear once you get it. I suppose that's the brilliance behind all gaming industries.

looks like the quests and quest items aren't out for the upgrade, but it's gonna be like super rare drops like lava cores, except only 10 of them.

That sucks, try changing servers and switching back after a week and renaming will pretty much clear your friend list and you can just have others add you.
