Halloween Turn Off Extended to Nov. 6th

We are extended Halloween 1 day and will turn the event off on Nov. 6th. The reason for this delay is to incorporate additional server maintenance during the patch time on Nov. 6th to further optimize the Arcane Legends Game Servers for performance.

On Friday, Nov. 1st, we performed work on the Game Servers to prepare for the coming of the new Crafting and Upgrading feature (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?121892-Crafting-and-Upgrade-System-In-Development-for-Arcane-Legends) (click here to read more (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?121892-Crafting-and-Upgrade-System-In-Development-for-Arcane-Legends)). Following that upgrade, we have been monitoring some performance issues that we want to optimize. Rather than do 2 separate downtimes in two days, we are going to pool the work together and do it all on Nov. 6th. Hopefully you won't mind having some extra time to play the Halloween content :)

There will still be a brief period of lag like you describe (starting new instances, Consignment Shoppe listings, Leaderboards, etc.) after the maintenance while all the caches are rebuilt.

Crafting and Upgrading requires a new game client, which requires an Apple submission process and we haven't submitted the new client to Apple yet. So, nope, not yet! If all goes well, Crafting and Upgrading will come later this month.

I wouldn't mind the extra day...but I can't do that as it stands. The servers seem worse & worse with each day.
Today, it is so bad that I've been unable to collect gold from sales, I'm seeing times of 2 full minutes just going into an area, and 3 minute waits just to see the "join failed" message box while trying to start a bard's quest & be back at the character screen...trying to get back into Arlor to no avail.
In a 20 minute span...I couldn't even complete the daily bard quests. I gave up trying...
This is horrific. And insanity.

I do hope that after this maintenance, we can expect a huge boost in terms of speed and lag reduction. It is almost impossible to play seamlessly as of the moment because of the LAG and loading issues!
