Important information for new recruits:
Our guild really requires that you actively participate in elite runs. We don't tolerate any form of begging or merching in the g chat because what we do are elite runs and of course also farming AL events and sometimes crate farming. We are definitely not the right guild for you if you spend most of your time in the city merching or if you need to achieve PvP APs quickly.

We have zero tolerance of drama and swearing in g chat (in fact in any chat) and we are going to boot any member that shows disrespect and immature behavior. If you are mad at someone, solve it in GH or in arena 1 vs 1 please :)

We have zero tolerance of begging. We will help you to do farming runs, but don't expect gifts or "loans". Although we have built a community of trust, always think twice before giving (lending) stuff to anybody. We can't guarantee for every member.

Personal note from Guild Master: Please don't beg for promotions. If you want to become a higher rank, invest your time into helping other members instead of asking when you can get promoted. Officer title is something that you may get after several months of hard work, but there is absolutely no guarantee.

Elite runners are around since April 2013. So, you are joining a stable community that survived several mass exoduses including officers.

Vision
We are stewards of the Arcane Legends, ushering players who have reached the level cap into the elite and end-game territory, helping them to learn end game content, and preparing them for what lies ahead.

Officers
Officers are trainers and are committed to helping others achieve their in-game goals and teach them everything we know. Officers are supposed to lead runs and organize parties for the members.

Consider to join if:


You like to run elite maps
It is hard for you to find a party to run Elite maps
You enjoy the social aspect of the game and you like to communicate with other people
You are capped (currently level 46) and you fulfill the criteria according to the table above.
You have reasonable gear to run Elite maps (36 myth armor or 46 legendary is fine for most of the maps)
You are patient and know what to do in the game if you can't get a party right now (for some tips see page 12 of the original thread: Click here (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?94005-lt-Elite-Runners-gt-Recruiting-Members/page12) )
You speak at least basic English, although our members cover many languages, including, but not limited to, Spanish, Korean, Malay, Indonesian, Italian, French, Russian, Croatian, Czech…



We may not be the right guild for you if:

You want to join only because of some hard elite APs (don't expect us to do hard core Tindirin or Ren'gol runs with you on request within the first days after you join)
You don't like to listen to well-meant advices, particularly regarding your build and skill use
You want to join with one of your alts and hop between guilds. We value loyalty very much.
You like to farm easy maps like LMM, KM3 or Rooks' Nest over and over - no problem doing 5 runs, but don't expect us to grind the skeletons for hours with you – we combine farming and fun
You are low level and constantly ask for help to level up (most of us capped individually)
You are inactive in PvE and require party for PvP arena
You think that fancy gear makes you a better person
You use g chat for merching, boasting and other irrelevant outbursts
You like to bring drama to the g chat


Important notes:

Concerning plat/ankh spending:
This topic became increasingly important with the new elites, because the mobs hit very hard and boss runs are often deadly (gladiator's axe throw etc). For runs in Elite Ren'gol, Planar Tombs and sometimes also Arena platinum or ankhs are required. Please understand that it's frustrating for your party members when they are keeping boss alive, potentially dying and plat reviving only to wait if you make it back. Also, don't expect the party to die for you if you revive outside the battle arena during the 4th arena run.


Furthermore, we refrain from parking mobs anywhere besides maybe the big dudes in Planar Tomb 3.
Also, you should have some plats for re-specification if needed. We cannot do elite runs with you if you have PvP specification. For example, heal skills on mage or rogue is a no-no in elite.

Elite runners is not a one-man guild, and not even guild of officers. The guild is as the members are. We officers see our role in creating a healthy and friendly climate inside, but it is the members who are the core of the fun. Our original idea was to be pure training guild where the members would leave after some time or commit to become trainers. It is really not important if you are a member, recruiter or an officer. As you can see in our contest thread, we form parties regardless of your rank or gear.

We enjoy very low fluctuation of members. We do not like guild-hoppers and so please do not join us if you only need some hard-core elite APs. This will be quickly recognized and your calls for runs may be ignored. We put most of our efforts into loyal members. Also, although our presence in PvP is increasing, we are still primarily Elite guild. If you are a PvPer, you are likely to find a party for arena, however this is not a rule.

If you leave our guild, don't expect us to take you back easily. We usually give a second chance, but we are reluctant to give you the third or fourth chance. We invest lots of time and pots into every member.

PvP
Given that couple of good PvPers joined our guild recently, we are not ignoring PvP world anymore. We want to provide our members with additional fun and fair PvP clash.

Our PvP Code of Conduct in a nutshell:

1. No ganging. Really. Wait for the opposite party to regroup. Of course killing the last player in a fair 5 vs 5 battle is not considered ganging.
2. No trash talking. Remember that you represent Elite Runners in PvP and that any trash talk may be punished by booting you from the guild.
3. Respect every member in the pvp arena even if he is an opponent. Kill, but don't humiliate the enemy.
4. Wear the guild title all the time.
5. You may attack or get attacked by guild member if he is on enemy side. If you don't want to fight your guildie or your friend, LEAVE the session. Don't block the spot.
6. We are not paranoic about your KDR. Fight for fun.

For reasons to join (from the first post of the thread) :
-I own a capped mage and have skills that support PvE only (which are fire, gale, clock and heal) because I dont think I can rock in PvP with a mage. In other words I dont like PvP at all!
-It may not be hard to find an elite party, just need waiting, but joining a guild with other elite runners that I can talk to for fun is cool, so why not?
-Im using lvl 36 normal legendary gears at the time (which are devourer staff,shadowy gun for boss, hellish armor and helm, ring and amulet gives 25 and 27 damage respectively).The only thing Im missing is the Lepre amulet, but Im not going to beg for it in my first days, im saving up for it, I had over 10 locked now, over 20k gold in 3 accounts(twink warrior 21 and rogue 23 and this mage, though my twink only use epic weapon and cheap legendary armors & rings I still have fun in PvP with 3:4 KDR and farm jarl when I get the luck elixir :tongue:) and only waiting for the price to rise! My stats are below

-All I can say about this is that I would really like to hear from the experienced, but I cant change my build now because its very hard to buy plats here, which means I have 0 plats left now :smile: I will try my best to make my build the most effective, by dealing the most damage I can to mobs and give HP/mana to others. Dont worry about my gale, I only have it for dodging, running fast and surviving with bosses, I will never blow mobs away while the party is attacking!
-As I said above I dont like PvP with mage at all :smile:
-I play just for fun, but if there are good items dropped, I will be very happy :)
-I will never merch/boast/drama in g chat :)

Btw will I need to whisper recruiters and let them inspect my stats then check my skills in order to be invited to the guild?

No u do not need to be inspected by your stats. We look at how well u do in elite although now I think we just let people in. :)

Yes, we are not looking so much at your stats now - your stats are nothing more than allocated skill points (which can be changed), and gear (which can be farmed for). So, we let people that comply to the rules in the OP in, mostly.

As for the other stats - KDR, no of deaths and kills etc we don't care at all (as opposed to many other guilds). It is up to every individual if he's after excellent ratios and number of deaths or not. Usually, it dies not say much about your capability to run elites. I have very high number of deaths and these come mostly from getting hard APs for members, such as Skull Cove in the last and before-last season.

Im not sure if this is the right place to post but I want to share this :)
I finished my FIRST elite Bael today with wikiat,kingpirate and ruff , and I think Im the luckiest to get a demonlord helm while others got 3 shade's armors :) I have now a motivation to continue farming :) I also figured out how loot was distributed for killing Krunch/Bael, was worrying before because I dont have leprechaunt pendant yet :) This helm is 90k the least in cs now!

and later today, I went for a party with a vietnamse friend (in guild too) to kill elite captain blood hammer WITHOUT lep, and guess what I found after 2 runs :) first run got me golden and second got me silver. Though silver is worthless I still feel happy :)

I am looking to join I meet your requirements, am new to this game, only a week in but dont let that fool you, I made it to 36 in 3 days and my gear is at the moment all Leg. hope to upgrade a piece or 2 to mythic this weekend. I ve been a member of elite guilds in almost any MMO you can name. Am looking to just have a good time with some fun people, I am a good player but dont have that elitist mindset some have. MY IGN is Ariscaaziba, I was not sure who to contact so I thought I would post here and let someone contact me. Ill be on most every day for a few hours, around 12 pm - 3 or 4 pm est. Also I work 3rd shift so if someone is around from the 10 pm to 6 am time frame I could contact them on my breaks or lunch or whatever. thanks!

Once we have determined that a player is not only capable of running elites, and can represent the guild appropriately when and if running PUGS. We would promote that player into the recruiter status.

Yes it still goes like this Xpell! Our members don't need to ask for promotions, because we monitor their activity, helpfulness and way they represent the guild on an on-going basis.

So, asking for promotions is pointless, officers know our members very well mostly and we discuss promotions regularly.

For example Scea has not been very long with us, but he has shown great dedication also by writing a long helpful post on the forum in a very optimistic tone. He is very nice and optimistic guy, great asset for the guild, and that was the main reason for promotion.

My second run in the place and Im the only one who rerolls (of course rava will rage if he rerolls too :)) to get Pylon and rava gets EGP :) I guess my lep is a lucky one to get me legendary in my second elite run with it :) But unfortunately its stability :( And it seems like rava does this place a lot, in my first run I wasnt in party and he came :)

It's our first contest and it was a great experience for all players and also for us, its administrators. We will for sure use this experience in the near future so that the game won't become monotonous without any event or expansion in sight :)

And as for growth - yes, we plan to grow in a controlled way, and it will be also up to you, one of our recruiters, to keep this guild being a nice place of fun for all our members :)

I've decided to create this so that we can all include the most or at least one of the most efficient ways to farm a specific dungeon like Ferry so newcomers will be able to know how to run. In our free time, I hope we can all add which way is most efficient to run. I'm going to get the ball rolling with Oltgar.

Mob 1: This should be the first mob you encounter an is the first five you should see. You can combine Mob 1 with Mob 2 to cut down the time, but it is risky as if your group cant handle it, it might extend the time instead. Kill them all.

Mob 2: Six snaggletooths will spawn and you should have a mage put down a clock and then gather the two enemies on the far right and bring them over. Only one member of the party is necessary for this.Kill them all.

Mob 3: Run to the right side instead of heading straight. Running the other way is also an option, but atm this way seems the most efficient, faster and easier to run. Since the hairy monsters spawn and they would be all over the place when a sorc puts a clock over it, if a rogue has the trap skill that pulls in the enemies, it would help kill faster. Crawly and Brothers Whim would also work I think. :) Kill all here.

Mob 4: Since we have killed the mobs at the side you run past the mob that was straight ahead from Mob 2 and you would get to this spot. The rest should be familiar if you had run Elite Oltgar before. Kill all here.

Mob 5: You run past that huge mob and should eventually get to the room of Frostir. If you want to cut down time, you should have a sorc put a clock down on the mobs path towards you and your party and immediately start killing them. (This isn't necessary, but if you want to cut down time do it if you wish although the sorc might die due to the snaggletooth's area attack when they are putting down the clock. From my experience from running here, if you had killed all the mobs in their specific area, the two snaggletooths farthest away from Frostir's spawn room wouldnt be necessary to kill. NOTE: I'm using a normal dungeon now, but the dungeon looks the same so nothing wrong there

Boss Frostir The boss gets more dangerous the more his health goes down, so be prepared to move a lot if you want to avoid his area attack. The only class that shouldn't avoid this is the warrior. The warrior or warriors should be trying to keep hold of the aggro so Frostir wouldn't be running after the rogue and the blue smurf.

Put all STR gem in all gear and weapons.


FAQ:
Why 5 skill build?
I am switching to axe throw instead of Juggernaut on boss fight like Frostier, Bael etc. It helps to pull boss within melee range+reduce armor on boss+ feeble effect+25%chance to stun. I think its worth it.

I am not putting single point in damage or crit - tanks priority is survival and agrro not damage.

Why dex?

My mana pool is enough and i m using one or two pot per 30 sec so I dont bother put points in int. Now only dex remains - dex gives little bit more health and dodge so why not?

Please keep in mind that its pure elite tanking build for lvl 36. its only viable in elite only. (if u really desperate to get skyward smash - replace it with juggernaut but i dont suggest that)

if you are tank dont care about dps and i think this build gives u max agrro+survival.


Tips about tanking

CS is useful for enfeebling enemy critical attacks - so when an enemy is about to deliver a devastating blow -- do your best to time CS so that it goes off before the enemy delivers that devastating blow in attempt to lessen the blow to the squishes.

Unless you are tanking Breckenridge or Ydra Forest you should ALWAYS have HoR fully charged before using. HoR in this build has taunt which will help you maintain aggro. Once you release HoR - in theory - all enemies should switch their attention (and their attacks) to you. The invulnerability is key to surviving the barrage of attacks.

SPAMMING POTIONS is a FULL-TIME JOB under HEAVY ATTACK so treat it like one.

Most newbies dont wait for big pulles. They always like to attack 2-3 mobs so move fast as tank and pull big
pull max mob which u can handle.

Learn to lure mobs in every map

When 1-2 low hp mob left leave them for your party and make ready new big pull for your party.

If u wanna tank - spec and gear up for tanking and never care about dps. Warrior cant beat mages in AOE and rouges in single target dps. Make ur mind there.

Still you may loose agrro because of warrior class design - so dont worry , every class got stupid pots.

With every death u will learn and try not to make that mistake again.

Position boss and mobs well so other dps classes dont take damage and do easily dps.

While tanking hard hitting boss like Frostier, Ilnash, Bloodhammer make sure your armor is above 1500 in elites and have 5000+ hp with pet otherwise he might one shot you. You can buy cheap sword and shield for such fights for more armor.

Extra Credit: Killingsworth (Elite Runner Guild) for few tanking tips.

Solo Elite Ferrix run.

Surprisingly, it was quite a bit easier than I had imagined. Under 17mins solo, chatting throughout the entire run. Realistically doable for a full Legendary Rogue in under 15 minutes.

This is evidence for those of you without Mythic equipment that a mainstream, Legendary-Only player can solo even end-game maps. Granted, I am not going to try this with Krom, but Ferrix is a bread-and-butter run, and was easily accomplished by a Rogue with no elixirs, approximately 120 HP pots and about 100 mana pots.

Now, strategy here is substantially different than on the previous Ferrix run - the Wolves are truly a game changer. You have to keep the pulls as small as possible, backpedaling whenever you get to the point where you are going to be overrun to allow some of the mobs to reset. I died once here because I was stunned by one of those vines, and subsequently killed by a wolf.

The most difficult part of this map is the run after the last pull to the boss. The wolves slowing you down with their procs are quite devastating and could easily lead to deaths. Best strategy during the run is proper timing of Malison's arcane (for the Dodge) and pot like crazy. Use charged auto attacks to stun the trailing mobs, which will give you a step or two lead, so you won't continuously get slowed.

Best strategy for the boss is proper timing with George's arcane and Nox while you have him stunned. For those that don't know, if you time George's stun properly, Overgrowth won't summon the three Necromancers. Any Rogue that would attempt this run solo should have enough DPS to handle the three spawns, but it just makes for a less stressful (and slightly less pot intensive) run.

Decent loot for me this time, so while this run was substantially more pot intensive, (approximately 300 HP pots, 200 mana), it yielded positive results.

Continuing on with my Solo experiment...

I decided to see how difficult elite Undim Fields would be to solo. Short answer, not that bad if you keep your pulls small.

Basically, I cleared the 4 statues, pulling 2 or 3 at a time. The purposeful reset strategy doesn't work here, so you have to be keenly aware of your skill range to only aggro one or two at a time and draw them to an open space. The vines that spawn is something to consider, because if you are not careful, you will get 8-10 suddenly spawning at your feet, and that won't be a very good thing for you.

Basically, I cleared the entire area leading up to and around the 4 statues (one bottom right, one middle bottom, one middle top, one top right), then drew in all shielded mobs to the statue, ensuring a clean area to work with. Of course, Krom did not spawn by the 3rd statue, which would have made this a much faster run, so I went hunting and found him on the middle left part of the map.

Initially, I drew him to the statues I cleared, but Krom's windup attack zone (the shorter range attack) is very, very glitched. If you are next to him but within a few meters outsize the zone, he still one-hit kills you anyway, so after my first death, I decided the safer method is to run him around the cleared zones and Nox him. The DoT from Nox penetrates his shield (as it does to Bael, Overgrowth, etc.), so it was simply easier to kite and Nox without risking a second glitched death.

The Noxing method is slow, but safe. With that in mind, I was able to complete the map in a slow 22:56, but on the positive side, I used less than 200 HP and Mana pots, so pick your poison, time versus pot burn. Granted, you could get lucky and have him spawn between the 3rd and 4th statues, which would probably result in a run more like 13-15 mins, but I would still recommend a Nox based approach for safety and HP pot usage.

I would love to see others take the challenge of soloing elite Shuyal - hope to see screenies soon :-)

And as to your question why would we limit recruiting - well, we are really an elite guild of mostly capped players and we devote lots of time to our members in elite levels. (These days are an exception, we even started to pvp a bit before expansion comes :) )

We don't want to be a leveling place for guild-hoppers. That is why we strongly consider to be very selective when recruiting during the expansion period. I hope you understand.

Decided to see how difficult Elite Ashral Tower (Inan'hesh) was, since I haven't tried it before.

Essentially, mob clearing follows the same strategies I have laid out in my Nordr and Shuyal guides, so it isn't that difficult to handle as long as you are patient, you use your range, and you keep the pulls small.

Basically, I found Inan to be somewhat difficult. Unlike most other maps where mob clearing is the most challenging aspect, clearly this boss is a force to be reckoned with. The two key components to successfully defeating him is to always stay outside of his AoE attack range, and to kill off the Necromancer that spawns immediately - any delay allows the Necromancer to heal Inan, so you run the risk of prolonging the fight and allowing him to enrage.

Inan's AoE can one-hit you most of the time, so I cannot stress how important it is to stay outside of his windup range! Occasionally, he has an Axe Throw-like attack which pulls you towards him. Combat this by running away from him in the direction of the pull. I.e., if he pulls you towards him at 12 O'Clock, run away from him at his 6 O'Clock. Inan has a habit of pulling then doing a windup attack, so this strategy will keep you outside of the danger zone.

A second effective strategy is to kite, using charged Aimed, charged Nox. Avoid using pierce until the Necromancer spawns. Never charge Pierce, you will just get yourself into trouble here. Essentially, when the Necromancer spawns, unload everything upon him. Unfortunately, you have to run the risk of staying in melee range so you can maximize your damage output, but you should be able to deal with the single Necromancer with two skill rotations, so you are at risk for approximately 6-7 seconds.

Since this was my first attempt to solo Inan, I started off rather cautious; hence the slow-ish time. I suspect I can shave off several minutes off of this, but it is a good start. I went through approximately 150 HP pots and 300 Mana pots here. By keeping the pulls small, I was able to conserve HP, but the mana consumption is what it is. In this case, I used Scorch (the new Mythic pet), which further reduces HP pot consumption, but with no INT bonus, nor any form of mana replenishment (beyond Mana regen rates), I used up more mana than I really expected.

I will run this map several more times, and at some point will put together another solo strategy guide in my Elite Chronicles series, but for now, all you get are my random thoughts, strategy notes, and a screenie.

In summary, this is an intense run, and probably something that you should tackle when you are comfortable soloing the other Shuyal maps; because this boss is at least as tough as Grimnr...maybe even more so.

We are definitely not one of the largest guilds. Typically, we provide a home for approximately 250-300 capped or cap-1 players, though many in that count are capped alts, so the real life headcount is probably more like 100-125.

As a group, I am happy to say that we are extremely collaborative. Members who get Reroll from Klaas or Shaz announce in /g "Got Reroll, any runs?", which typically takes priority over PUG runs, strategy sessions, research, or just plain hanging out in town.

We don't do much (if anything) in the way of recruiting and basically rely on reputation and word-of-mouth to drive up headcount. Because we spend so much time training and developing our members, the preference is to keep the guild smallish, so we can dedicate the resources needed for proper training.

We do a lot to foster a sense of community within our guild. Yes. But it depends on what class you are. We prioritize capped players more but rogues are an exception. We don't have as much rogues than sorcs and warriors so we evaluate each player by making a recruitment run. Also, have you been productive with the current double exp weekend? If you are not lvl 36 yet, i would recommend to nake the most out of the double exp weekend and you might be able to cap your toon. Btw, I think we recruite lvl cap-1 too. If you havent capped at the double xp weekend, I think its OK. We shouldnt force him to cap when the expansion is very near because the xp he earned may be used to get to 40. At the time he can do farming runs for extra profit :)

Btw I have a rogue (lvl 29 near 30) ign itshim. I hosted a small guild too named <family and friends>, about 190 members but not very active because most of them are low lvl who might not play anymore. Im going to post a guild thread and clean the guild once I got to lvl cap on her or win a weekend contest for the plat for guild hall, but the guild hall seems far because theres no weekend contest for about a month from now :( Btw hope you guys good luck :)

We often run with non-capped people in party too (I still remember kingpirate a warrior who took months to cap and we still run with him lvl 35:)), 1 lvl with a tank is no problem anyways :) Btw though we were very active in shuyal elite, we are not very active now in elites maybe because people are afraid of the difficulty, but dont get sad because you can still find party sometimes :)

I did 2 runs in elite first map today, and guess what I found! special thanks to Ishmeet, Lilsneak and Sarah (sarah in guild ouroboss). The team consists of 2 mages, a tank and a rogue. In both runs I only used lepre, no luck lix :) The rewards made my day!
This is first run ever in this map! I was very happy to be the luckiest one to loot a legendary. Though it isnt worth much, its still something :) A short story aside it is, there was someone at the door so I gotta go for 4 or 5 minutes at boss start. When I came back, the dragon has 1/4 hp left. And the one at the door came to send me the report that I passed my test!

Others got silver and copper chests and a green stuff, I thought thats what I got too. But unbelievably! When I came back I saw this thing on the ground! LOL the only good thing "no reroll" gives really came true! OMG it made my day!

This latest walkthrough goes over Elite Tindirin [The Wilds] using about 50k in purchased crate gear (bow, helm and armor) and level 36 ring and amulet - all legendaries.

Let it be known that even with crate gear and a quality lv36 ring and amulet, Tindirin elites can be soloed if you use the right strategies. These strategies will work equally well in a weaker party as it does solo.

Hello my IGN is Redtonex
I'm lvl 41 Warrior that play good in Elite Runs. I Independently leveled my self to reach 41. The reason why I want to join the guild because its rare in arcane legends to join a guild that do a lot of farming than pvp. I'm not good at pvp so I stay at PvE. I speak good in English. I don't really argue with people that is nonsense.

I'd love to be able to pve elite non stop. I'm trying to max my rogue out and I'm a few items short(sam, razors, arcane ring).

Mistakes are made by human themselves, If anyo wants back I think GM should give him one chance after he as realized his mistake. :)

It was anger but I left because no one backed me, last expansion we didn't gang within the few weeks of pvp ER did. And I have been in the guild a long time and made so many 'friends'. For no one to say what Jham did was wrong was a bit hurtful. I was betrayed but i'm over it now. Best of wishes to you as well :)
