I have extreme difficulty with this new type style and I need some useful tips and tricks! I currently use a savage scythe set. Thank you -Bastcast

I prefer 157 str rest dex with savage scythe set.
9 BOM 9 BOV 9 drain,fire,night,weak 7 light and heal, 1 ms

Just hide behind dodge and armor, heal every now and then & throwing in a drain, ice, fire, lightning whenever you feel like it wouldn't hurt. Oh, auto attack too.

Well, since lots of their points go into str, they have low hit, so they need dex.
It also explains why pallies are extremely vulnerable with mana shield on, they dont have a huge mana pool, so they'll run out reeaallly fast.

It really is better to do 157 str, 67 dex, rest int. 157 str and rest dex sucks, because they're squishy with lower heals/drain and skill damage/mana.

It does work on bears..I've seen bears with an elite bow. I doubt they're full dex.
They just Beckon, auto, and stomp if you're still alive. Half the time I'm dead when they beckon and auto. I don't even have a chance to use anything.
I've seen a few dex mages with elite bow.
Fox mostly uses full dex if he wants to use elite bow, but the lil str is useful I guess.

All for one, and one for all. Bear is rly easy with a dex bird using bow... Just root root blast repulse considering blind has no effect on them whatsoever except for damage, use it last.

Dex mages are useless when Full Int with Fiery gives 150+ Hit and alot more skill damage/crit/armor. Full dex bears... Maybe. But Savage Armor+Helm with Swift bow is better, otherwise if your opponent dodges beckon, Gf.

hmmm, try to recalculate, specailly don't forget % with it's actual form THIS TIME :)
@OP if you finding it "extreamly difficult" with this OP class then seriously you need to learn very baaics of mages.

ur build will depend on the kind of ring u are about to use:
Platinum ring: 157 str, i would say balance ur int and dex.
Dragon ring: 157 str, a lot of int and about 66 dex.
Ring of Valiance (2P): 157 str, about 100+ dex atleast and put other points into int.
Ring of Valiant Glory (3p/crafted with dragon ring): 157 str, use a lot of int and less dex, if u have the egg reward, go 157 str rest int.
