A question to my dear birdy friends

Dear fellow birdy friends,

Is there a single active pvp level where birds are the dominant class, or at least can compete with the best of other classes? If so what level is this?

76 Phoenix bow birds, main reason birds got a big nerf.

If your like me and hate endgame, then 60/61 Demonic xbow birds are really good if you know what your doing and your range. If your 61, and fighting a bear, use sang because sang longbow had hit debuff with auto.

If you're looking to not do 9 skills, then I'd suggest L61 sang bird. They can keep up easily, their only problem would be lilith mages. (A LITTLE BIT) A lilith mage vs sang bird isn't as bad as a death mage vs death bird, and I'd just say that sang bird can keep up the easiest. If you wouldn't mind going endgame, then I'd say obviously endgame. Birds are still great there, they can kill all classes and can really kill the fastest. I'd say a skilled lvl 45 bird can do pretty well.

IMO endgame birds aren't overpowered, they mainly have a disadvantage against all 75-76 classes, but yet, they can still kill all classes, so it's still a good thing to try!

I really don't think they have a disadvantage. It is a matter of dodging. If blind hits a str char, then the str will most likely die if the str don't kite or heal/shield. Also if a root hits, 90% of the time if the bird hits combo, the str will die. So not really at a disadvantage. If blind doesn't hit, hit repulse and wait for blind to cool down. Against mages is all about dodge and speed. If drain and fire/ice/light/icestorm hit, your dead. But if you are fast, you can kill fast. Dex-------self-explanatory: Luck-based unless the opponent has no idea what their ranges are lol.

Lies. Mage, bear, fox and bird are actually pretty equal in lvl 1. Depends on the arena they are in though.

Also, level 1 bears only have 1-handed weapons? Are you kidding? What about those op hammers, or the cracked staff or the longsword?

I won't be playing level 1, guys. If anyone can offer a more plausible suggestion, that would be much appreciated. I like the idea of 61 (even have an old twink I could dust off), but it simply costs too much for me.

71 phantom birds also dodge like cray, plus have range like a boss.

Both are fun for birds.

I meant melee weapons, MB. Foxes may be on par with a bird but mages are definitely worse.

I meant melee weapons, MB. Foxes may be on par with a bird but mages are definitely worse. Mage has higher dmg I believe than bird, making up for the lack of health, and same goes for bear. They can kite bear if they aren't dumb and still win.

Yup. With college I barely have time to play, much less to go and farm a level over and over. I usually stick to cheap levels.

Vamp Set is decent too. Anyways:

Lvl 50/51 Shadow/Void/Death/Raid/Drainer birds are great, mages are a problem but with the proper kiting skills, I'd say they defeat a mage. Just make sure you're full dex. Mana Regen is a pain though

Lvl 55/56 Custom Birds can compete with all sewer gear due to the insane amount of crit. Obedience>Charmin Mages but SM/Big Top bears win 3/5 of the time.

Lvl 60/61 Don't

Lvl 66 Workable but ATM, bears dominate. Use Sun God if you want to stand a chance.

Lvl 70/71 IMO best level for a bird. Phantom gives 4 dodge apiece amounting to around 20 dodge unbuffed with a decent 50 base crit. Yeah bears still dominate but birds wreck FFA. DO NOT use flying. The trade off of dodge+range for damage just isn't worth it. A flying talon set may come in handy. When a mage early shields switch to talon, blast+repulse, back to phantom, then Blind Root Break.

Lvl 75/76 was great for birds until the dodge nerf. Only thing you can beat regularly are other Dex/Int Characters
