Disconnect if I enter open world with EDGE/UMTS

Hi,

I have a strange problem. If I enter the open world without wifi but with EDGE/UMTS i get a disconnect after about 5 seconds.
The tutorial worked fine as I remember.

I am using a Motorola Milestone and I tried it with Cyanogenmod (2.2.1 Kernel) and with stock ROM - both the same issue.

My provider is T-Mobile with web n walk flat.

I barely no what any of these things are. But i would suggest not opening with wi fi
