Here comes a noob question. I apologize in advance... ;)

I usually run jarl and hideout alternating for crates and ribbits.

but i read in the forums that a lot people run jarl only.

how do u do that? How do you reset jarl map in a reasonable time?

Thx for advice

Most ppl goes after Jarl in forest and then Jarl again. It doesnt always reset but mostly.

This. Literally after you kill Jarl, switch to forest then switch back. In rare occasions, where you are farming him too fast along with other pugs, it tends to relapse you into the same map after you zone out of forest and back in.

You can also arrive at a "farmed" map when no one kills the mage after Jarl before leaving. This causes the map to stay, until someone takes the job and goes there to kill him.
Normally I go after the mobs behind Jarl first, which also gives other runners time to join the fight.

Obviously you must not be in a party, or the reset takes several minutes no matter what you do. (Maybe killing the other boss would help but is not worth it).

Edit: yep. Soloparty is the culprit. Since pug runs take too long and sometimes results in getting nothing bc boss was killed before i arrived, i'll stick to my old system. This way i get 25 to 30 bosses per elixier run.

but thanks everybody for the input.

if someone knows a trick how to farm jarl only solopartying, let me know.

Assume you do not solo (or party up) the map, you need to kill 18 or more (including jarl) for the map instance to be locked for any new players to enter. When you leave this instance, you are locked to enter as well. I think this is what you ask.

For the case with party, the instance will be cleared after no one in for a set amount of time. Not really know exact amount but it is between 30-40 seconds.

If you run it a lot you'll get really good at judging whether or not you have time to make it to Jarl by looking at where the players who have spawned before you are currently at on the map. Have your minimap turned on while farming this map. When you spawn, you can instantly see whether or not there are mobs at the beginning of the bridge. If there are no mobs you can see if there are players beyond the mobs that you have time to catch up with. If there are neither, just spawn out of the map and come back in. If a player has already turned left on the bridge towards Jarl, you wont have time to catch him if he goes straight for Jarl. You'll find that a lot of players wait though. I always farm with lep on and a reroll elixer, so right after Jarl dies, I spawn to Traders Outpost instead of forest, then straight back to Brackenridge. I do this because spawning in the forest keeps your timer running for elixer. Although it probably only burns off a couple seconds, over the course of thousands of runs (which if you like to Jarl farm you'll easily do) that's a lot of wasted time. A lot of people like to run KM3 for crates but I feel like Jarl is the best way to go unless you have a group of 4 really good players that all want to farm for a long time. With Jarl, you don't have to count on anyone else. Also equip a pet with a movement speed boost like Grimm or Abbadon (theres several others but those are the 2 I use) Each run will probably take you about 30 seconds in Brackenridge which gives you around 60 runs with a single elixer.
