With the current crafting? No.
Event with double odds, this gun should still be worth 3M. It is the 3rd best mage weapon ingame atm.

I am a newb to AL, where do Arcane/Mythic staves drop?

Arcane staffs can only be looted from locked crates and elite golden puzzleboxes.
Mythic staffs also come from locked and EGPs, but they are only lootable during an event which recently just passed.

where do i get egp?
EGP aka Elite Golden Puzzleboxes are dropped from Elite Shuyal Bosses and also is dropped in the Shuyal Arena.
